    Very good quality build. The material itself is very good and the design is also great, because it keeps the connectors in place because of the locking mechanism. It has one straight connector and one at an 90° angle so it installs nicely into a standard ATX housing.
    It is fully backward compatible. I am using this cable for SATA2 hard drive and it works flawlessly.
    A very recommended product. Would buy again!

    USB 3 speed. Its small and handy, and does what you'd expect. Works with mac os x, at USB 3, even though it says in the description that it doesn't.
    Very useful for saving files from broken laptops, just disassemble the computer, remove the drive, and connect it to the USB/SATA adapter, to transfer the files to another computer. It may also be used to clone a drive, when upgrading to for an example an SSD.
    Works as it is supposed to.

    Using this adapter in a USB2 port, I only get 20MB/s but with USB3 I got 60MB/s, which isn't too bad compared to the 70MB/s I get when the drive is connected directly via SATA. The better part is that, contrary to the previous adapters I used, this one happily lets me use smartctl and hdparm, so I can check the drive's temperature and control things like the idle-timeout.
    It took some force to plug the "molex to sata-power" adapter on the power-brick.
    The best USB to SATA/IDE adapter I found so far.

    Very simple to setup. just plug and it works. A good adapter for a good price. Easy to use. Works exactly as described. Very handy case. - Indicator lights for power and access. Good quality. This cable makes it easy to connect 2.5" sata drives.

    Worked as soon as i plugged it in. Although i did not have an ssd to test it out, I still got the performance of the maximum speed my hard drive can do.
    They should have made one of the sides 90% angle. That way the cable could have been used in tight places.I would also rather have a standard color and shape cable so that it wouldn't really stand out from the rest of the computer.
    Although this is not the cheapest sata 3 cable i have seen, it does its job.
