Very well built product, best that can be I guess, after all it's just a piece of iron neatly colored and precisely built so that it fits my EOS 450D body and the thread of the two lenses I tested it with!
I used two FD lenses with 52mm filter thread, one of them 50mm focal length and the other 35-70mm zoom lens! The magnifications is much greater with the zoom lens, but it is so built that the zoom ring and the focusing ring don't work fully!
The product is all right, can't be better, but one must first explore his lens meant for use with it! I think it's best to use lens with internal focusing ring, the performance will be far better and the safety of the lens itself either! If this all taken in regard there's no reason why not to buy the ring, arrived repetitively soon and was properly packed!
  • Cheap way of doing macro

If you want to get into macro photography, then this is a cheap and effective way of doing it. But you need a lens with on-lens aperture control.
    Did I mentione cheap?
It's just a piece of metal, nothing special. Threads are ok. It fits on nikon-mount lenses and on a nikon body (D2x for me). Also, you will be able to use any other lens with that thread size, not necessarily a nikon mount - as you're not attaching the lens mount side.
It does what is says it does, nothing more and nothing less.

Seams to be of good build quality, its cheap and Useful.
I took a rasp and a angle grinder and removed the metal (about 1mm) around the second ring. Now it fits perfectly. (With a angle grinder about 10minutes of work)
With a little bit of work you get a perfect fit, cheap Reversal Filter Adapter Ring.
  • good choice

The product perfectly fit on camera and lens. The material is Aluminum and very stiff. No scratches or something. No light leakage. No vibration or motion when fitted.
Reverse ring is easy to use and chepaer way to make macro photographs. Reverse Rings, convert regular lenses to microscopes. The disadvantage is depth of field is so shallow. When you dismiunt cann lenses aperture will be minimum. You have to lock aperture before dismunt the lens, so ehn you reverse it with reverse ring, you would have a bit longer depth of field.
The product does what it should be.

works as it should. simple, does not put too much pressure on the camera mount or on the lens, even if you use filters. does its job.
simplest and cheapest way to do macro. not only allows you to do macro with your normal lens, means you won't have to carry an extra macro lens with you. cool.
cheap, simple, works perfect. recommended. i use it on both my 35mm 1.8 and my old manual focus 50mm 1.8. works great on both, but specially on the old 50mm 1.8 as manual focus ring works best and it has an aperture dial.
