  • Functional, but need a slight improvement

It's an adapter to use ANY F-mount lens on a m4/3 Body. It's self explainatory. It's EXTREMELY usefull to make movies using F-mount prime ou "fast"-zoom lenses, including lastest generations of G-type (gelded) lenses, which don't have an aperture ring.
Attaches effortlessly to m4/3 bodies, and works as it should (after minor tweaks). As this is merely a physical adapter, there is no auto-focus transmission whatsoever, nor lens info being fed back to the camera.Heavy lenses that lack a tripod collar may put too much strain to the camera body if not hand-held, so beware.
After the few fixes my unit needed, it works flawlessly. It allows me to use ALL of my Nikkor and third party F-mount lenses on my Olympus PEN.You will always have to guess your aperture; the only sure ones will be wide-open or fully-closed.This is not a very big issue: my PEN's Aperture-priority ("A") mode works based on light hitting the sensor, so it exposes no matter what aperture. The fixes mentioned above do not require any expertise. As long as you can use a screwdriver and pliers, it's very easy to adjust the adapter to perfection.Overall, recomended!
  • Adapts Nikon lens on Canon EOS body

Bought this to fit my Samyang 14mm (Nikon) lens on my Canon EOS 5D mk2 camera body. It works fine, and the lens now acts like a Canonmounted one. Have tried other adapters before with problems fitting to lens - too thight. This one fits perfectly. This one is actually cheaper than the other, but better!
Use live-view for fine-focusing. No autofocus is possible with this adapter.
A must have for Canon-users with Nikon lenses!

screws nicely on my soviet Jupiter 9 objectivevery cheapcan be used to DIY upgrade of webcam with objective of photographic quality.
I have purchased this adapter to use it for DIY purposes. Various optical sensors like PIR, photodiodes and webcams can be upgraded with photographic objective to get very handy manual focusing and very improved picture quality. Cheap webcams often do have plastic lenses, that could be in theory exchanged for better objective or they can be left in place to get some advantage of focusing.
So to use this adapter, i will glue it to a lighttightly sealed box with a webcam or something else.

It is well made and it fits the lenses and the camera well (Nikon D5000).
If you are into shooting portraits, close-ups or something not far away from you than you should buy this one, otherwise I recommend trying adapter that is slimmer or, even better, one with the lens.

    1. With it i can use old soviet lens on my Nikon D5100.
    2. Focusing on infinity, and even a little furthe.
    3. No gaps in bayonet.
    4. Lens can be removed and install without tools.
Overall an excellent lens adapter, but use lenses of Nikon or Kiev provides a better quality.
If you do not have money to buy the original lens, adapter is the best solution.
