  • this thing rocks!

Before i had this one i tried an obd2 elm327 bluetooth module which wouldn't stand a chance compared to this even at 1/3th of the price, The data transfer is fluent and fast, much faster than bluetooth since it's going over wi-fi. easy connection, no password needed and a very good range, tested it to about 15m away from the car and still had a reading on an ipad. The auto aff feature is also great, when you don't use it it poweres of after an hour.
    none
Get this over the bluetooth ones. the advantage is huge, better connection and securer data!
  • 5054A OKI ODIS Bluetooth / USB is very usefull

    * Price:The price of the diagnostic tool is really acceptable. You get car code reader and the newest ODIS software. You can choose between many languages.* Software:Manual about software installation is useful. It is a video how to install ODIS. It could be a shorter because the installation takes a lot of time and you have to wait. With ODIS you can do everything with your car.
I used diagnostic tool on four different cars (VW Golf IV, Golf V, VW Touran and VW Passat) and it worked perfectly up to now.It is really worth the money. You have to have some knowledge about cars because this is the same tool the car mechanics are using.
I would repeat again how to install diagnostic tool*1. Install software (use video manual).*2. Insert VAS5054 into car's OBD connector and connect it on the computer by USB cable (to get drivers).*3. Disconnect USB cable and connect VAS5054 it by Bluetooth. Password are numbers beside device's name.*4. Run Configuration ODIS Service EDIC and add EDIC. You have to choose VAS 5054 device (Bluetooth COM).*5. Start ODIS and software shoud see connection VAS5054 and receive data from the car.

price, functions properly, it just a USB cable and a disk.simple but effective. The quality of the cable looks good, robust enough.
simple but effective.you need to install the driver first by running to correct driver software on the disk.switch of your viris scanner when installing the software.check which com port is used baudrate must be at 38k
works fine for private use, you need to fiddle around a bit with the software.I think it a good buy
  • ELM 327 v1.5 wireless OBD scan tool

I am very happy with them. Works perfectly with my BMW. So download softwere in mobile phone can also be used as a black box. Entry can do the route and displays it on the map.
It's a very good device for little money ... excellent tool for everyone.
I would recommend this device to anyone who wants to "read" the ECU info from the car. It's easy to setup and to use.
  • Great Cable Works as intended

Solid connections. Generous wire length for hard to reach OBD ports. Cable is pre-patched for DiagBox 6.01 no need to downgrade the firmware. DiagBox is Vista and Win7 compatible. No need to run Virtual box to run Lexia3 or PP2000
Getting the software to work properly might take a while if you don't know your way around computers. Cable works great and communication with the vehicle was stable. No need to downgrade the firmware since it works AS IS with DiagBox.
I would recommend this cable if you want to change the ETACs settings of your car. You need some patience to install the software an must know how to get around computers.
