  • Great cost and benefit

Good build, does what it propose to do, recognized the battery as soon as it was inserted. Buttons works perfectly. The texture combines with the camera's.
Does what it supposed to do, with a smaller cost in front of the original.
Worth the order, if you don't want to spent 3x more.

    - Good quality- Easy tp set up- Cheaper than original- You can also use AA batteries- Works great on D200- Very good grip with rubber (i tought it was pure plastic before i buyed)- It's a pure copy of the original grip but much cheaper.
Good quality for the price. Save some money and buy this!

Does the job, holds two Nikon batteries or six aa batteries!
Can be used for somewhat advanced shooting (has the ability to set camera trigger functions and wireless(IR) remote triggering)
Can be used with Jenis remote.
Fits the camera perfectly, and makes it look more like a pro D3.
On/Off switch prevents the vertical shutter button from "going off" unintentionally when not in use.
You have to remove the battery hatch from your camera, the hatch doesn't fit inside the grip like it did on my former camera.
Plastic quality is really good, but not as good as the Nikon body plastic which feels like metal.
A good grip: Gives you a good hold of the camera vertically, can hold two nikon batteries, fits camera perfectly, though the shutter button feels "cheap".
    Would buy it again!
  • works like expected

    - much cheaper than the original MB-D80- good quality- shutter button has 2 noticable stages for focus and release- when used with EL3e both battery slots are recognized by camera- no "funny" translations in manual
    - personally think this one is better than the cheaper ones here at DX
    - don't forget to adjust the battery type when using with AA batteries (menu d12). With default settings to Alkaline but NiMH batteries inserted, the battery indicator show nearly empty even with fully charged batteries.
  • good price for a good buy

Its a very good build product... looks firm with no wobbly parts... sits very well under my d7000.. the two sockets are well build and the battery sits very well inside with no trouble what so ever... in general a very good product
if to fix the aperture and the F stop controllers on this grip.. make it a little bit more firm and more accurate this grip could be awesome.. but hey what can i say it is a 60$ grip after all
a very good grip for a low price which is more then acceptable
