This Remote Wired works perfectly, it served its function nicely. the remote didnt stated any nikon brand in its, so we could assume this are alternative remote for nikon wired shutter.Button is nicely built, not too firm and not too soft, and if u need long shutter pressed, there is a lock function
The plastic feels cheap but not to worry, u wont notice at all.
for this range of price, this wired shutter is some alternative you could use for taking some long expose shutter speed. in D7000 you plug it in the GPS slot.
  • Yes, it works very well

    1) easy and quick connection to the camera. 2) Uses AAA batteries easy to find anywhere. 3) it is you who determines the timing of the photo at a distance. 4) the shutter release button has two stages, such as the camera trigger. One for focus adjustment and the second for the shooting. 5) If you also want to be photographed, the trigger waiting 2 seconds so that you have time to keep the control in your pocket after you shoot the photo.
You can use it when shooting with long exposure times, so that the camera doesn't stir
The remote control operates up to 100 m distant from the camera, which allows you to use it to allow photographs of skittish animals. You can choose several command codes to not interfere with others who are also using similar devices
  • Good, but not what i expected.

Its a remote, and it works fine for this purpose. Strong construction, good buttons, light and confortable in my hand. The timer is for bulb shots and its good for controled night exposures.
Star trails, night shots and really long exposures.
No complains, lets be clear about this: its a good device, and its usefull. But i expected something else... maybe my mistake, but i wonder if such device can be found in DX.
  • Remote switch trigger for my D90

Simple to use, no fancy buttens.(Nikon D90)
It does what you ask it to do, the hold function has a little hard "edge" probably needs to wear down a little.I never used a remote switch, but wanted to know what you can do with the "BULP" setting on the camera.you can estimate your own shutter time, I only found it hard to time it with the Autofocus on. the lens needs to focus first, and the time it takes to focus, you have to hold the button. Since the time it needs to focus depends on the object, it can be hard to stimate the moment when you need to release again! I
good price, does the job, but could be a little smaller if it hadn't had the battery tray. also a slightly longer cabel would be nice.It worked for what I wanted to do with it on my Nikon D90!
  • It works !

It works with my Nikon D7000.I still haven't tested the range of the signal, because I use it as a wireless trigger to prevent blur from moving when I take pictures with a telephoto lens.
I'd appreciate if the transmitter (not the receiver) would be compatible with the Nikon D80 receiver: only one transmitter to carry ! But it doesn't work.
Finally, it’s a good product, and not cheap. It is not expensive when compared with the products of the Nikon brand.
