Good steady 300mbit wifi N linkup.Comes with prothecting hat for usb connector.
Use with a usb cable to get better reception and to put it ontop of laptop screen and also freeing up space so neghbor usb port can be used at same time.Liked the drivers RTL8192SU_AutoInstallPackage from realtek webbpage.
Relly good 300mbit usb 2.0 dongle for a good price.Abit on the big side, use it with a usb extension to save your self some hassle.now if there were a similar för mounting inside a notebook on DX to replace the crappy intel one that dont like realtek routers.
  • Fantastic Product!

    - a fraction of price compared to retail shops- superb performance, tested with speedtest.net, it's faster than my LAN of approx 15m length.- small and convenient, yet powerful
Bought quite a number of adapters from DX before, 'SKU: 50467' was one of the best, too bad it's sold out. So i bought this product instead, and found that it's actually better, around same price. Though slightly bigger, but that's probably why the signal is better.
If you are looking for small and good performance adapter, this is it.
  • Great range, even works on Linux

I bought this product to get wifi on my raspberry pi.It offers:-Great range-Really cheap price-Works on Windows & Linux-Supports WAP
You need an external powered USB-Hub to use this product on a raspberry pi.For Linux you might(!) need to compile the Realtek drivers from the realtek website for yourself. But after that it really works great.
If you need wifi(especially if you have a raspberry pi) buy this!
  • Simple and works well

Seems to work pretty well. Great that it has an external RP-SMA connector.
I had trouble connecting to my wireless n router. Unsure if it was because of this unit or not - I connect to it with my laptop fine.Remember that wireless n is draft, therefore not all devices are compatiable with each other. This unit connects to my wireless g access point fine though (my main one so I didn't try the wireless n router properly - getting rid of the n router anyway because I don't use it).
Works well, having a USB wi-fi dongle with RP-SMA on it is great.I didn't bother with the driver CD - Windows Update (in both XP and Win 7) worked straight off.
  • Linux Mint/Ubuntu: It just works.

I've been searching for a long time for a USB wifi adapter that works, and works consistently on Linux.I've tried hardware from several major players, and haven't found anything that has reasonable linux driver support. These though, are plug & play on Linux Mint 14. Drivers are nice and stable. Hardware does what it should, without fuss, and reception seems to be pretty reasonable, also.
Mint 14 / Linux Kernel 3.5: It works, without fuss.
