  • Very fast motors

Cheap and fast motors. Works as expected. One tested for spin gave more than 33000 RPM at 6V and more than 52000 RPM at 12V.
I´m going to use them in slot cars but I believe that the 12V system will burn them soon. I tested them at this voltage and they start to heat, as expected
As they are cheap I feel no sorry of them on the experiments. The projected ones for 12V spin 18000 to 21000 RPM, so one can just pull controller half way to not burn them, having same spin.
  • good product

This is a very nice little L298 carrier board. It has (very bright) red status LEDs for the 4 inputs, as well as jumper-enable-able pull-up resistors on the inputs.
No manual. Can't see the reason for pull-up resistors on the inputs(see other thoughts). For security reasons I would put pullDOWN resistors, if any. Plastic parts of the screw terminals are somewhat loose on my board (I bought only one), but that does not caused any problem. Got the same problem with supplies over 20V as FakeName describes
At this price it can't get any better! if you are looking for a great h-bridge to control couple motors this is a sure bet
  • Does what it's supposed to do

    - It's a Small board- Connecting it to the stepper motor is foolproof due to the connector- Has 4 surface mounted LED's that display the status of the sequence sent to the motor- Very cheap piece (one can use this with a 28YBJ stepper motor for +/- $5)
There are more complete/complex hardware to perform this task... but sincerely, i found this little fellow to be good enough to make the system function perfectly, so why bother and buy a more expensible driver?
What can one say about this? it does what it is supposed to do, that is, it drives the stepper motor (in my case the "DC 5V 28YBJ-48 Stepper Motor for Arduino") from my arduino. I really enjoy the form factor and the quality for the price.
  • Cheep motor drive

It's the first time that I work with motor control and I have been pleasantly surprised. This small print function as it should, with the option to speed regulation of two DC motors or one single phase servo motor. Works fine with arduino
A better info or manual on this board could be usefull
Works fine for a nice price.
  • Awesome, I am very satisfyed

The products (I have bought 2 motors) where very carefully packed, and this is awesome. The motors worked out of the box, no problem (other that I had to find a schema to connect things in the internet).
It would be great if there were instructions on how to connect the product with the Arduino board, along with some example code.
In the end, after finding a schema of connection and a sample code on the web, all worked as expected. The motors are slow, but very strong, and my circuits did not heat at all. I was very pleased with my purchase.
