720P recorded videoGood daylight recording and dusk/dawn moderate light recordingAuto on/off, motion sensor, IR workingPortable, can be detached from cable and lasts roughly 30-45min without being plugged inStill working after over 1 year all-the-time use
Mount broke within 6 months, as did also for the second one I bought, recommend to invest in a good mount (bought SKU# 37975, excellent).Device stopped working after 8 months, then started working a month after non-use, readusting battery. Just FYI.IR is close range only, like maybe 10 ft, which is not useful for driving, only walking around in the dark.Be sure to check date and time is correct (once auto-changed date/time to earlier date, probably due to inactivity or dead charge, and was looping within 5 GB data instead of the whole 32, so lost footage) make sure device is working, screen is showing real-time FPS capturing before driving.
Great investment, or see what other newer cameras have available. This has been around for a while.

    Great camera for that price!
Camera have good solid waterproof case so You can use it in every situation (skiing, swimming, diving, riding bikes, driving cars, on rain, snow...)Quality of recorded video is good, on 1080 resolution is sharp and little "shaky", on 720 resolution is smooth and little cloudy but still good. You can record with 60fps in 720p resolution and watch this video in slow-motion with great quality. You can find many sample videos on YouTube (for HT200 and HT200A - difference is only case, hardware is same). Camera have wide angle lens (fish eye) and can record 142 degree in 1080 resolution and amazing 172 degree in 720 resolution.
Camera coming with full equipment, holders for every situation, chargers for home and car, all necessary cables and two batteries.

Pretty good quality build, comfortable fit to the car window povoronty lens is very handy thing was. has a menu in Russian language in general, the normal translation understand even child
When shooting in 640 * 480 picture is normal enough sightseeing and a good read.
In general, the unit is not worse and no better than their counterparts in the price range to $ 70 while its real price, I would give 45-50 dollars
  • It does the job well

Clear video and decent frame rateH264 encoding far superior to MJPEG2 adjustable camerasZoomed camera fits the rear window of my car perfectlyGood screenHDMI outputHDMI cable suppliedStarts recording when ignition is turned onTurns off with ignition
Can easily be removed for security or to capture video by hand using the built in battery. I have no idea how long the battery will work forOn sunny days I angle the camera towards the bonnet but this aims the rear facing camera to the ceiling of the car
I recommend this as an affordable in car black boxI haven't tested the G sensor yet but I know that these sometime fill the memory card with protected files if you hit speed bumps or potholes so it is not a must have feature for me
  • Cheap, not great, but does the job

Does what it's supposed to.The attachment sucker works very well. The build may be cheap but form-factor wise works much better than the 'vertical' types.
Disable the IR LEDs - they only serve to wash out the image due to reflections rather than illuminating anything in the street in front of you.
At just a few dozen bucks, this is a reasonable camera for recording driving or even as a webcam (though you'd be better off getting an actual webcam). If you need one professionally or because you live somewhere where insurance fraud often occurs, you would do well to look at a more reputable camera - it will be more expensive, but "you get what you pay for".
