macro lens 52mm Customers Reviews

  • Easy-to-use, ok for the occasional user

Well-packaged.Easy to fit onto Nikon lens (Nikon D5100, using 52 mm thread) or onto existing filter.Shallow depth of focus.Makes it possible to get within 4 cm of motive.
The macro filter will turn with an existing filter (I use a circular pol filter), which is ok.Took a month from order date to deliver to Denmark.
Considering the price, it is a good buy for the occasional user - not the pro.
  • Good for the price

*Very good lenses for the price, about 1/4 of the price from great brands
*Multicoated, let the light pass without problem, in AV mode (aperture priority) with the aperture fixed in F 2.6, without the lenses i get about 1/160s, in the same scene with the lenses it incresed to 1/120s
    * macro + wide angle in one product
    * the macro attachment MUST be attached with the wide angle to get focus, i tried without it and the thread don´t fit in the adapter
*Very good lenses for the money, buy it if you need it, you dont regret it
  • Nice add on

This was just a little toy I picked up to try out and am pretty happy with. I have used it on numerous occasions for insects and coins and what not. Image quality is decent, but not great.
You need to have a fairly small aperture to get any decent photos. At first I was shooting wide open and everything was fuzzy even the in focus parts you need at least f/8 to get anything in focus at all.
Nice to have, useful occasionally to take some macros.
  • A great toy for beginners

For a very low price, you get to try out how a dedicated macro/wide angle lens feels. And it might just be enough for a beginner.
I am just an amateur photographer so my opinion might not be the best, but I would recommend this to anyone who cannot spare the money to buy a dedicated wide angle lens.
    Definitely worth it.
