  • Very high quality

This a very solid, high quality light. The front is screwed in tightly, and there are two o rings, one to seal the front, and another to protect the lens from the glass. It is definitely a Cree XM-L, as seen in the photo. I measured the wattage at just over 9 watts, which is probably the maximum you could drive it in such a small package. The case gets hot in a warm, still room, but not too hot. It seems to have effective heat management, and the mounting is very secure. The wire is thick and well insulated. It is very bright.
I'm not sure if the beam angle is really sixty degrees. It seems fairly narrow to me, but good for a motorbike light, or landscape lighting.
I'm very pleased. I may put it on my scooter, or use it for outdoor lighting at my shop. I will probably buy more.
  • Great, natural light, very recommendable!

I have four of this in my kichen hood. One of the only led lights i came across with real natural warm light. Where a lot of the led "warm lights" seem cooler to me this i would guess is 3500K.
They get fairly hot and the are a yust a bit bigger than the ones i replaced them with
Overall it is a really good replacement. Happy with the perchause

Very pleasant "yellowish" light. It is spreading widely.
I am suing it to light up one part of my backyard. Until now, I had 150W incandescent flood light.
It is sealed on both sides (LED and wires).
It is really heavy, not some cheap plastic housing.
I was trying to connect it to motion sensor, it works OK (turn on/turn off), but during the "off", it flashes every few seconds. I don't know if it is usable with PIR sensors.
May look expensive, but I guess that it will pay off soon. It is shining all over the objects in backyard, not heating them. Love it!

Strong and sturdy casing. Adjustable axises (z and y) to point the light on specific place when mounted.Hand warm after 2 hours of use.
Not a bad buy for this price and free shipping....
Not a bad buy for small project. Cannot use one of these items to lit up the entire field or room... focused on an area where you can work on your desktop project, perhaps...

VERY VERY high quality of build and materials used. Absolutely no overheating possible with this thing. On top , for a 3x1 watt it produces a LOT of light/lumen. Probably because of the lenses on top of the leds. Colour is really warm white ... should buy a decent lightmeter but i guess it's closer to 3K or less.
because of MY OWN stupidity I blow the driver by hooking it up to a 220V AC source instead of 12V DC...grrrrrr. So , no protection there...be warned. To make it worse I hooked it directly to a 220V-AC-12V-DC .... on the wrong side of it. So i also blew that power supply to heaven (LOL).
Absolutely decent product, but if you need a lot of them ... it will become rather expensive. Local shops sell a likes for +30% where as strips are sold locally for at least 50 to 100% more of the DX price.
