  • Works well on solar cell power system

Lots of light for a small cellar room.
Im running this to light a 5m2 cellar room under cool conditions. Power source is a solar power system, with voltages 12,5-14,5V. Im running it togheter with SKU 13557 for voltage regulation. I mounted it on an aluminum CPU cooling ribs with thermal grease SKU 48429. Runs are usually only a few minutes, but Ive also had run times of a few hours. Light color is probably more to the yellow than warm white.
Good product under the above stated conditions.

The LED emitted a very bright and white light, without blue or green. It´s simple to connect the LED with a power supply because the solder pins are very long. It´s also very simple to fix the LED of a heat sink with 4 screws. Additional the LED is very cheap.
If you want to use the external solder pins, you had to chek the polarity.
All in all it´s a good LED ;)
  • Really bright from a small emitter, great price

This thing is extremely bright for a small emitter, the color is a nice deep blue and creates a lot of shimmer, great for saltwater tanks, it makes the corals and the fishes colors pop and illuminate, it also penetrates the deep with plenty of light at two feet
Wish I bought extra, the first time I bought some they came in bubble wrap, the second they came in plastic baggies, don't know why but they weren't damaged
Great value, bright, small, easy to solder
  • Great efficient and performance

My build draws total 87W which is really low consumptionBright enough to be used in a home theater with small panel builds. Increase color saturation and image quality vs 5200K MH lamps. I am using 8.9" wvga panel.
These are future. There no way to turn back to use old school MH lamps.Suddenly projector manufacturers are stalling for some reason to bring high resolution led projectors to the markets. Is the reason long last led?
The sky is the limit with LED-based lighting.

Just like the other LEDs except no phosphorus so it doesn't output white light. I needed pure blue for an application so I bought a few of these. Very bright blue light, although the eye isn't particularly sensitive to blue so it doesn't look nearly as bright as the white. These hold up well even if you accidentally reverse the polarity, or if you forget to turn the fan on for the heatsink.
I use old P4 or Athlon heatsinks with the fans to keep these cool and it works very well. Even without the fan, they seem to survive but really do heat up.
If you need the pure blue, these work well.
