I bought 5 at onceGood DriverWaterproof is always a plusThis driver is actually smaller than the 1W led 320ma driver which is a plusIt is a better colour than the one in the picture
not impressed at all with broken parts manly due to bad packingWas impressed with delivery time though, I recieved it in about a week which was suprising since it usually always takes about 3 weeks to arrive
Good driverGood Price could be a bit lower but at this time you will not find a cheaper waterproof oneIf all my drivers arrived in one piece i would give it 4-5 starsI gave a lower rating on usefullnes because it is less usefull without those screw holders

The device was bought for powering Cree xml diode to limit current. The device have Voltage and Current regulation. My diode takes 3 ampers of current so I had to use little radiator with a thermal grease on the LM microchip, without it temperature was more than 100 C and LM chip protection had tripped. After i've used heat sink everythink became OK)
    informative specification
    good deal

This is a great driver. I used it to make a 1 watt night light with an xm-l led. Extremely bright! The unit seems well sealed with resin on the back, and the wires were easy to attach to an australian plug from bunnings. I don't see any flickering. I would like to get a device to test how much power it actually uses, but I don't have one.
I'm keen to make my own home lighting, and this makes it easy. Would be nice if there was more choice of currents and voltages, and if there were dimmable versions. A half watt version would be good.

    Drives LEDs
I'm using these with 140411. They drive a single LED at 9 volts and 665ma (5.985w). When I plug the ac outlet into my kill-a-watt meter, it says it's drawing 8w (~75% efficiency). I also tested this with some resistors. It drives a 25 ohm resistor at 14v, 496mA, 6.15w and a 50 ohm resistor at 17.66v, 353mA, 6.23w. 100ohm makes it hum a bit, so I didn't push it.
The efficiency is a little low, but it does work. If you want to drive 6w leds, this is a good way to go.

Good product except for the cons.Description of the product is accurate. Got the same current and voltage readings as posted. Does not heat much only warm for a few hour of use.You have to solder the AC line input yourself. It is quite difficult to mount since there are no holes for screws. It took dx a week longer to ship compared to other sellers.Hope DX could address the cons. Overall- I'm Happy...
