  • My new EDC flashlight

    Bright white Cree R2 emitter,Really clean and clear glass lens,Aluminum textured/OP reflector,4 O-rings,Glow in the dark clicky,1AA compatibility,Robust construction,Nice gray finish,Can tailstand,Assault crown,Comes with lanyard;
The clicky is very comfortable, well is at hand, works perfectly with 1AA battery, not overheat, very good Hi Mid Low modes-I measured the current at Hi=1000mA,Mid=600mA,Low=200mA with fresh 1AA alkaline battery.Strobe and SOS are also not bad.
Very good but poorly assembled flashlight.
    Good emitter+good driver+good body = Very good flashlight;I recommend buying,maybe you'll get better.
  • Solid thing with good design

Steel; cool shiny metal body; metal switch cap; bright; clear lens and reflector; water tight o-rings everywhere; nice lanyard. Powered only by one battery.
Assault crown and strap included. Head o-ring is glowing in the dark after switching-off :-)
Solid thing with good design. If you want good pocket flashlight and not spare money, this would be a great deal.
  • I like it!

Great little light, fits your hand nicely, looks extremely well finished. Relatively bright.
I don't have a 14500 to test it with, as I purchased this light to be a "general purpose" light, and didn't want to fuss with rechargeable anything. Compared to my Mini Mag light it's brighter (just barely), better, smaller, and cheaper. I'd estimate it around 100-120 lumens.
Overall I love it. Perfect for putting in your pocket and plenty bright for most applications.
  • very decent everyday light

    - nice, shiny built- no toolmarks- decent threads- no sharp edges- easy to operate clicky switch- very bright- good thrower- still enough spill for closer environment- 5 modes- tailstands- 18650 protected batteries all fit tight, no rattling
I have actually planned to replace the dropin with an MC-E, but now I like it just the way it is. The MC-E dropin will have to stay in my 501b. When illuminating a fan on low, you can see the fanblades
This is a decent, impressive light which was cheaper than my 501b (which dropped in price recently). It replaced my TR801 in my jacket, because there are no sharp edges which might damage it.
  • Very bright light for the price but did not last.

VERY bright small light. I was impress by how nice it was. It was also very convenient how it uses AA batteries and fit in my pocket.
Great for the money but wish it last longer. I do not know what to do with it now and its just a paperweight in front of my computer.
Wish they sent me a new inner head or something because I just wasted 12 bucks so. Looks like a good flashlight though and bright for what it is.
