  • Not as good as the wireless model

Comparing to rhe wireless model that I also own:

You can use it in all the browsers (chrome, explorer, firefox).
Tilt and pan movements are faster.
I bought it as a second camera, the interface is very poor but the best is that you don't have to configure activeX controls.
    Taking a picture is easy:

Let's see the reliability of the product afer long weeks of continous use.
  • Easy to install and use

Good image quality.Easy to install (took less than 5 minutes). No motor noise when turning.Android app included.Free DDNS.A good device overall. I'd recommend this to everyone.
Connect wireless antenna, LAN cable to your router and to camera and finally power chord. Make sure your router has DHCP enabled. Use your computer's browser to access the device. Given IP for the camera will probably be 192.168.0.2 or 3 (try increasing the last digit one by one if 2 or 3 does not work) when you type correct ip to address bar, you'll get a login page. Enter username and password as it is on the camera. Go to network and change the ip you see there with a higher number. For example if it's 192.168.0.3, change it to 192.168.0.100 and also change the port from 80 to another port (Ex. 1234) save and device will restart. After restart connect to camera using ip and port you've given. As for our example it's 192.168.0.100:1234 when you're in, enable DDNS by checking the checkbox in "manufacturer's ddns" link and save. The last step is on your router. Log in to your router and find forwarding. create a new record and enter your camera's ip and port.
For our example, IP is 192.168.0.100 and port is 1234. Save it and you're ready to go. You can use the DDNS address on any computer that has internet connection to access your camera.I know I don't cover all the questions but that's not what I meant to do. I think this will help you start using the camera.

    - Simple Config web interface
    - ftp host names allowed (i.e.: ftp://your.ftp.server)
    - ftp passive and active
    - good motion detecting
    - nearly 380° turnable
    - audio in (you can hear over the camera)
    - external micro possible
    - audio out (you can shout to the place where the camera is)
    - never hung up
    - nighvision not that bad
    - nice simple and clean webUI
    - you can record videos over YOUR BROWSER (+sound)
    - internal relay
    A great wired camera in baby-blue ^^
Not that bad, has many functions at a average china-price.
    Whats the "Bottomline" for?
  • Pretty good

All the important stuff seems to be working just fine.-It is pretty quiet when turning.-Motion detection works little better than I expected.-Can view and control the camera with Firefox and mobile browsers.
You can check for firmware updates and information about the software from http://www.maygion.com/
    Pretty good buy.
  • Good 300k camera.

Nice user interfaceConnects to the network via cable or WiFiWaterproofNice picture quality, price and resolution considered.Good build quality. Housing looks very sturdy. You have a lot of configuration options, and it works okay with Internet Explorer, Firefox and Android browsers!
Have not tried the waterproof 'feature' yet. (It has not rained since installation)Included tool makes it easy to find your camera and configure it remotely although it didn't found mine (running windows 7). It mentioned a strange default gateway (no idea where it got that from, via 'ipconf' everything looked okay) Using windows XP, it worked perfectly.
Good value for money. If you are going to use it in combination with security software, please do check beforehand if it is compatible.
