  • Cheap wifi cracker

Really small and light weight. Great range could be better, but not in this price range. Comes with Backtrack 3 and a guide for how to crack a wep. And if you got a mac kisMAC can crack wep without using Backtrack.
Wonder if Backtrack 4 works on this...
Great wireless network usb adapter and it can carck/hack any wep network
  • It's not suitable for 3G, instead use with Wlan

    * Very good build quality* Powerfull booster for Wlan network if you want specific direction for good wlan signal.
Very good quality SMA connection, no problems with it. Looking nice.
If you're buying it for 3G use, like I did, DO not!It is directional wlan yagi antenna! and very good in it. Due it's price I recommend for Wlan use!

  • 2 bar increase in signal. I am happy

    posted by APRrr

For the money this is a good purchase. I am using it on Optus 2100MHz 3G in Australia. I have found it increases the reliability of the wireless broadband connection and also increases download and upload speed.
I have had the aerial mounted outdoors for a couple of months and it is still working as when new. There are no signs of corrosion induced signal degredation yet.
It cost me more to get the cabling, the tail into a USB modem and a lead connector than I paid for the aerial. I consider it a bargain and find it works far better than I expected it would.
I would have purchased a higher gain aerial if DX had one available. This unit is good for picking up a couple of bars in a fringe area, but if you are well out in the sticks a higher gain aerial might be a better purchase.
Give it a go if you do need a bit of a signal boost, but don't expect to go from zero bars to 5 bar signal strength.
  • Cheap but did not help me

Cheap!!Light!! Easy to mount/secure.Picks up lots of networks!!
Probably need to : 1 - Check my aim (~300m) with thick building glass.2 - Get a more powerful base AP transmitter to hook this up to.3 - Maybe get another one for my Alfa 1W USB WiFi.
Works but does not solve my issue. Will need to check other solutions to boost the power outputs.
