  • Works well. Quality Product

Build quality is very goodFull retail packaging as pictured - even shrink wrapped.Includes DVI - VGA and DVI - HDMI adaptersWorking well. Running at 1280x1024 VGA for a third monitor with a Dell Precision laptop and docking station (plugged into docking station).Very little lag in desktop applications - haven't tried any form of video or games but didn't buy it for that.Video quality at 1280x1024 75Hz is fairly good - at 60Hz it wasn't great for some reason. I'd prefer to use DVI but the LCD I'm using at the moment is not capable of that.
Haven't tried DVI or HDMI outputs but wouldn't expect any issue.Haven't tried any higher resolutions.
Maybe a little expensive but is good quality compared to some of the DX stuff I've bought (admittedly much cheaper)
  • Works beautifully

Functions as it should. Performance is great considering it's coming though USB. Aero glass works great and only when the cpu-consumption spikes you might notice a little slowdown.
I got this based on the chipset (Display Link-165). Based on other sites this chipset is good and the way to go.
I have not tried youtube-videos or anything like that. Believe it or not. I actually got it for work for a mate. The computer running it is rather fast (core 2 duo, 2ghz) and your mileage may vary on slower computers.
  • Does what it supposed to do

    posted by Mario92

Does what it promises. Don't have any complains about image quality and I can record 1080i with 60fps. Works wonderfully with VirtualDub. Also being able to record from component input is huge plus.
HDMI port worries me as cable fits but doesn't seem to "click" in place so it's bit loose. Technically works fine.
If you are willing to sacrifice 1080p support for this cheap price then this is definitly your choise!
  • Good product

Allows for an extra monitor to be added to any setup.Works with all OS (Windows, Linux and Mac).Great for editing/reading text and other not so demanding tasks.
For this price, only wish I could play flash videos. There is no great use for it if you plan to use graphic intensive tasks, but works great though.
Great product for the price, but given the limitations, could be a little bit cheaper.
  • works just as expected (if you expect ok)

    IT IS HDCP CAPABLE!!!!!!!!
so it will record virtually everything
i recorded my ps3 with it...
    works like a charm....
    the available res are 720x480; 1280x720 and 1920x1080(all on 23.97; 24; 25; 29.97 and 30 fps refresh rate)
the actual card is not the one on the photos, i received a smaller one, probably new model, but it has the same connections and works perfectly...
the size of the card itself is similar to a credit card and it comes with a low profile slot to mount in thinner cases so no problems with that.
it comes with a mini-CD with the drivers (32 AND 64 BIT DRIVERS) and a capture program...
it can record 1080 by the component input as well
packaging is fairly ok, bubble plastic covering the box...
it came from CHINA, NOT HK(i dont know if it makes any difference but is something)
great product, exactly what i wanted
