This headset does a great job for those who just want to drive around listening to music and talking on the phone.the ''best'' headset who does the same job is the cardo Q2 scala rider that costs the same as 5-6 V1 headsets, so the V1 is the best option.
it took a whole month untill i got my v1 (><)
i bought one, and now i'll buy another one for my new helmet becuse it really worth the price and does almost the same job as Q2, the price diferences are just huge and it pays of to buy even 2 V1 headsets instead of 1 Q2Recomended by a happy costumer! :)
  • Absolutely amazing

Price, quality of sound, compatibility. Good bass for the speaker small size. Good top volume. Volume buttons work as track up/down button if pressed once (A2DP), volume up/down if long pressed. Text to speech recognition, Fm radio, fast install on any helmet. This gadget will surprise you!
I buy it only to listen to music in the motorcycle, and for 33 euros it's the buy of my life. The first impression when I set up the handsfree is that I have to buy another for the summer helmet. I have to find spares of the speakers and microphone to install it on another helmet and only change the main unit.
I will post a photo later, to show the rubber case.
  • Great bike accessory.

Long lasting battery life; easy to mount; fits every possible helmet.Reliable communication between two bikers.Good radio receiver. It easily connects through bluetooth both my android mobile and my Garmin navigator.
Velcro behind earphones cannot be fully trusted and audio quality is very much connected with the positioning of earphones in your helmet.
Recommended purchase especially if you do not want to spend twice the money to get a branded toy.
  • Very good as bicycle intercom

Lightweight, good performer you just turn it on and forget about it.We did not test maximum range but never lost communication during our rides. We got out of sight a few times and even spoke from inside to outside a convenience store. Sound quality is OK.Controls are easy to reach and adjust.
I just used stick-on velcro to fix the unit to bicycle helmet, added plastic tabs to hold the mike/speakers.As bicycle intercom the units are not usable near traffic. Every passing car on either lane will trigger the intercom and will be heard on the other unit, blocking communication for a few seconds. I did not count it as a negative point as the units are not advertised as bicycle intercom. We got used to it and managed to talk when there was a break in traffic. Maybe there is a way to place the mike to minimize the noise pickup.
Using this intercom unit on bicycle rides was a great experience. Recommended.
  • Works, but microphone is hard to use

This came with two kinds of attachments available for the helmet. Glue or clamp. I used the clamp and it worked fine for me(my helmet was not perfect for it but still was fine.)When people hear you from the microphone, they cannot hear the wind at all. The speakers are very loud and relatively clear.Battery was great, I use it for a week without recharging.
Neck strap needs to have the option for adjustments and it will be perfect then.I will probably see if I can break it apart and make something my size.I could not test the radio because I have only one unit and no one with the other.
Good value for price. Not for wide necks/big people.
