  • Good cheap bulb

This must be one of the cheapest 8W LED bulbs on DX. The color is acceptable, slightly yellow to almost unnoticeable reddish white light. At least it doesn't have that unpleasing greenish tint some LEDs have. It's fairly bright, about comparable to a 50-60W incandescent bulb, about what you would expect from 8W. The light spreads well.It is apparently dimmable, I don't have a dimmer so I can't test it.
If it keeps working I am very happy with this bulb. I am moving to a new house soon which I want to make LED-only, so I'm testing some bulbs and this is a good candidate to get more of.Right now it burns about 3 hours daily, so the cost of this bulb will be earned back shortly if used to replace an incandescent bulb.
Need LED? try this one, it's cheap.

A good design and quality build.Surprised with the ligth that the lamp gives, the announced 450 lm are probably correct. The spread of the ligth is smooth and in a wide angle. If you want to use the lamp in a way that the light must be focused don't even think in that, the purpose of the lamp is to spread the light, and is well done.It warms a little but is not a problem.
It's possible to unscrew the bottom of the lamp(blank part) from the black. (maybe too easly)But this is not a big problem.
Good quality and design for a spread light led lamp.
  • Really bright light

This LED bulb has really bright light. I replaced 50W halogen bulb - light is equall.Compared to a halogen bulb, the light has a wider beamThe bulb si not hot when light
For its bigger length in some lamps could cause a problem
For its stupid COLD white (which I don't like in living room) the bulbs ended up in the hallway.

  • Excellent cost/benefit

    - Good amount of light- Warm light type. I'm using 4 in a walk in closet, and it feels very cozy- Well made (feels solid)- Good price comparing to local market. In Brazil it's almost 4x mor expensive
It looks quite beautiful when installed.Using it for 5 months with no issues.
If you want a warm (not too white) light, inexpensive, that does the job quite well, this is an excellent option.
