flashlights ultrafire q5 Customers Reviews

  • Probably the best mini torch sold on DX

Small. Very small. Small enough to put anywhere. It is about the length of my pinky finger. It's pretty bright. The Q5 is still a fairly decent emitter. The best part is the reflector. Consistent and even throughout the flood with a nice throw and a good sized hot spot. A slight orange peel on the reflector. Really, this is an amazing light for the price. I was quite surprised when I turned it on.It can tail-stand. It breaks down into only two components: the head and the body of the light. There is an oring after the threads and behind the lens and it does seem a tight fit but I wouldn't put any trust on the waterproof-ness.
Needs a button that can do momentary on.
I'll be getting another one or two of these.
  • Nice compact flashlight

    - Solid anodized theads- Thick O-rings of good quality, but non-lubricated- Compact- Nice design and build quality- Well done sturdy clip, may be reversed- Effective heat-dissipation (Led stands directly on alloy part of the head), flashlight becomes warm after 1-2 minutes in high mode
Lens fit only to XP-E diodes, remains some space and lens was dangled when I tried to install the XP-G led there
Cool host for custom flashlight, quality of built close to branded flashlights. Driver and switch are poor and ned need to be replaced. Recomend for its price, but need some modificatoins to get cool flashlight.
  • Nice flashlight with normal quality

Excellent gift, came in carton box, charger and battery included .No zoom, for me it's pros.Durable, lightweight and decent battery consumption. Bright on high setting (near 150- 200lm), good throw of the beam.
Current in high mode floating between 700 - 800 mA at fully charged acc.
Excellent purchase for the money.I strongly recommend to replace the O rings.

Very clear, very Bright.Low consumption. Very long battery life.I'm using it during my travel, and it work perfectly. It is very robust and the light is powerful. The range is very impressive, over 200 mt.Can be used indoor and outdoor; even with an adapter is suitable for biking.
I cannot stay without one of these at my home, in my car, in my camping car.I have one in my bedroom, and another in my box. Each of my cars are equipped with one of these flashlight
I reccomend this! I've purchased a lot of them for my friend and everyone is satisfied.
  • Nice performance for 1xAAA flashlight

    posted by neveric

    - It's cheapest 1xAAA flashlight with Q5 emitter.- 3 modes. Lo mode is really LOW (not just a little more weaker than hi).- It's bright. Of course not 130 lumens, but 65 on hi is for sure.- It's small. I know, it's not the smallest AAA light, but considering how bright it is on AAA... It's hard to find a smaller flashlight with such a great performance on alcaline & ni-mh batteries.- Good quality, but not perfect (there are some dust pieces under the glass).- No flickering. I know it's a common problem on singlemode version, but this one works better.
The switch is tight, hard to press it. But it can't be pressed by accident. It's much cheaper than singlemode. Li-on support don't worth 5$, imo.
One of the best 1xAAA flashligt on DX, I think.
