  • A cheap alternative to Pocket wizard

    posted by arunandappan

Getting it to work once you have removed the packing is a breeze. It was all very easy due to the supplied information. the product is very easy to use and 100% reliable indoors. outside if you are keeping a distance of about less than 15 metres it functions well
Shipping is slow because of the cheaper costs of transport. .Buying from dx is not a hassle if you have the patience. If you are from India, do not be afraid to use your credit card
A good buy for my venture into off camera flash photography.
  • Great pair of triggers

    posted by Hawkcore

Very useful, lets to control flashes individually if you program flashes in groups, works with TTL and manually. Great quality and price. Came in original box and in good package. The light emitter is superb in dark conditions.

I'm very satisfied with this product, the price is gorgeous and it has more possibilities than others trigers with TTL, its better than other similar brand models like PIXEL and Photix.
  • Multi functional, wireless flash trigger

    posted by Bananenman

More functions as just a wireless flash trigger.
Also useable as wired shutter release (just use the receiver with one of the cables) and you can use the transmitter as an wireless shutter release also.
Works with AAA batteries (no use of 'special' batteries, AAA batteries are everywhere available)
    I'am happy with the product
  • Pixel Opas Flash Trigger Transceiver / Radio Slave for Nikon

Similar to Pocket Wizard2.4GHz signal with 4 channels3 groups with 7 combinationsOver 400 metre specified operating range3.5mm synchronisation portsProntor/Compur portCompatible with King series TTL triggersPowered by AA batteries
The Opas has a very easy to use interface. Channels are chosen with a switch on the side, while groups – useful for selectively testing flashes – are controlled by buttons on the front. Crucially, the Atlas, Trigmaster Plus and Plus II lack any kind of wireless flash grouping, so if you want this feature in this kind of transceiver, the Opas could be for you. Indeed, the easy groupings on the Opas mean I have been using them in place of my Atlases for recent photo shoots. When pressing the test button halfway (or pressing your camera’s shutter halfway) the trigger detects it, sending a signal (indicated by a blue LED lighting up) to all the triggers, showing you they are ready and the flashes are woken up. We tested the shutter release function successfully with a Nikon D700. One of our pre-production units had a test button that didn’t work, but this shouldn’t be a problem you’ll encounter in the latest retail models.
    Very good option
