  • Not a bad light, some small issues

    -Nice small size torch-VERY bright-Very useful and floody beam-Nice GITD tailpiece-It does tailstand-Did I mention it's bright?
Overall a very nice light...a 3.75 out of 5 stars I would give. Bright! Very nice floody beam that illuminates the entire yard, out to 60 yards easy.BUT, of course, poor machining and QC. The body housing is uneven. Protected batteries fit VERY tight...I have to unsrew both ends to push out the battery.Memory mode is very quirky. When I first got it, it would reset back to high after shutting off for 2 or 3 seconds. Then it changed so now it resets after around 10 seconds. Occasionally it is still resetting back to high after 3 seconds. I can't figure out why. When I first had it, it also was flickering quite a lot. That seems to have stopped. One thing I have to say is I am a little dissapointed in runtime. I wanted to use this for Mountain Biking and the beam pattern would be perfect for this, but it only lasts around 35-40 minutes on High. Medium got me around 1:40 or so. However, this torch on medium is still slightly brighter than my Trustfire TR-801 on high, with a nicer flo
Pretty good light with some common issues. Very bright at the expense of lower runtimes. I will be using this to bike with, but I question whether it'll be as dependable as my TR-801. One thing is certain that I will still be carrying my 801 on rides; just in case!
  • A small monster in your pocket!

Small, good size fits perfectly in hand. The side switch makes the experience of a "small big" flashlight complete. With 14500 LiIon - either LiFePO4 or regular LiIon it really shines. With naked eye only very little discernible difference in light output from my much more expensive and bigger Fenix TK40 to this one.
I may very well hack in a physical switch in the near future to avoid that hassle of high standby drain. Lets see where I can fit it. Have I known about the very high standby drain I might have search for another light. Shame really because in every other aspect it's a wonderful light!Oh the threads came unlubed, screeching and still some polish (abrasive) in them. Really not an issue though as true flashaholics have a tube of their own lube (my favorite teflon lube). Clean out the polish with an old tooth brush to minimize thread wear.
Except for the standby drain - an outstanding flashlight. Beautiful finish! On eneloop/alkaline it's not quite 630 lm. Probably more like 350 but that's still much more powerful than similar sized flashlights on AA.

    - beautiful finish - 2500lm+ for sure- great flood- smooth reflector with no rings in the light- 6x 18650 = long run time- variable brightness- battery indicator LED- IPX8 waterproof - the wall of light this creates still travels 150 meters for a flooder lol, just barely but it does
    - Comparing this to the new Skyray King with the XMLU2 emitters the L3 is brighter so I would believe that it is at least 2500lm+. The thing is this is not as much of thrower. The Skyray King has a slightly tighter hot spot. So they both make it out to the 150 meter mark but the L3 is less bright at that range. However flooding an area right in front of you the L3 fills well. In ceiling bounce tests the L3 was about 10% brighter than the Skyray King. Both of those flashlights tail stand well and create more light than my standard living room lamps in that configuration LOL. Bright flashlights!
It's a great looking flashlight with cool features. If the driver was executed better it could easily be in my top 5 flashlights. I am not disappointed in owning this flashlight since there is nothing else with this cool interface!
  • Great light!

Compact, lightweight, takes a little space on a bar. Nice indicator. Lens are well focused for bike driving specific. Tight mount excludes any misplaces in case of vibration.
It seems it can be even brighter in case of some modifications in LED driver.
Very compact and bright headlight. It shines enough to be compared to car headlights. It definitely runs better than my old MagicShine on P7 led.Can be used on 50+ km/hr speed without any loss of visibility ahead.I'm totally satisfied with the quality for this price!
