  • Very bright flashlight!

    posted by carljwdc

This torch is very very bright.
Low battery drain, high battery life.
Handy size that is not too bulky.
    Uses AA batteries (commonly found)
I use this in the security industry as a back up torch and it works wonders for me, I also use it to go hunting and keep one on my whenever I am out at night. I also have used this to go fishing, although these have O-rings in these, water can get through the lenses of the LED.
Worth the money spent on this, highly recommended.
  • Best 2xAA buy.

Good build quality.Good design.Awesome brightness in comparison to older technology. No messing around with exotic low-capacity 3V Li-ion batteries. An alternative to the scores of black torches.
Still not sure whether it would have been better with brightness modes, but single mode is less frustrating and the other modes would hardly get used anyway.
The lens looseness that others have reported is only evident when the head is detatched from the body.
Performance is good enough to last until the next generation of LEDs become available.
The WF-606A currently has the overall best attributes of any torch.
  • Spare CREE flashlight

    - it can be loaded with li-on cells- battery last longer than I expected (I did not measured, but I was expecting just a couple hours)- bright enough to play around, I believe that the 150lm rating is true- o-rings are present on all screwed connections, so I would say it is water resistant
    - I could only use with 1x14500, so the extension tube is useless. - 2x normal AA works but not so shine.
I would not buy it again. Instead I would buy a cheaper model without extension tube.
  • It works perfectly in a Sony A330

    posted by osouto

It fits quite well in my SonyA330 and it works as it's expected
It's better to buy this before get a macro lens (for the money) and if finally you like macro photography then I suggest you to buy the lens, but not before !
    Dealextreme rocks !!
  • Cheap but a litle bit manual

    posted by glaucioguerra

Cheap, works great with my Nikon D-3100. Best result taking food photos.
Good to take food photos (that is my objective). I don't have opportunity to take other kind of photos, like flowers and other things of the nature, but I believe its works fine too.
If you don't have problem to adjust manually your aperture, it's a great product to take macro photos.
