  • Good performance, but overheats

High speed, 3 ports, easy to install and use. Installed once - use forever.
    Nothing specific.
Good useful device. Hopefully, cons will be insignificant, otherwise I will have to order another one.

is useful if you have several USB on your notebook.works pretty well. transfer rate is pretty good about 15-25 Mb / s for USB 2.0 and about 35-50 MB / s in USB 3.0
looks pretty good and it's quite cheap compared with more available on the market
I struggled a bit with him to find some drivers that works as it should.and gave me the blue screen enough times when I wanted to use it.
  • Must have adapter for suited laptop

Works for any operating system on notebook with 54mm express card slot. Driver CD is included but I didn't needed any with Windows 7.
The card runs hot during use (especially, in my laptop, because it's plugs in on top of my hard drive). When using with two external hard drives, the battery life gets reduced. Need to hold the card itself when pluging or unpluging it, to avoid damaging the card.
You could use fast external drive as boot drive, or a couple of hardrives as a storage for your laptop with this express card.

    - IT WORKS!- Makes file transfer faster (I have two times faster)For example, if I open a folder with images on external HDD, I do not have to wait so much for previews- Slim- Can be plugged in and be left in the computer
If it seems not to work even after installing the correct drivers, try plugging in with USB cable already plugged in express card
I've done the right thing to buy it.
  • Works seemlessly under GNU/Linux

I plugged it into my laptop then plugged my new USB3 external drive and there it was. Unplugging and replugging also seemed to work just fine. The drive was happy to pull all its power from the single USB3 connector even without using the extra power cable that comes with the card.
I have not yet tried to use the eSata part.
I like the fact that it does not stick out. Assuming the eSata part works as well, it's a great way to update a laptop's ports.
