  • Works right out of the box!

    Bought this to connect up to my Rikomagic MK802iii Android stick. Turned on the ethernet switch under settings and off to the races! I get about 6-7Mbps directly connected to my GigE network. Oh well, better than the wifi connection on the Rikomagic which is quite lousy
    It's not free?!!? Just kidding. Hopefully it will work well for a long time.
    Buy it if you need it
  • Full 100MBps speed, works with Linux

    - Great price.- Gets full 100Mbps speed. That's right, 12 MiB/s of raw transfer speed. Unlike the other ones, this is real USB 2.0.- Works perfectly with Linux using module mcs7830, which is in mainline kernel.- Fairly sturdy. I stressed it a little to see if it drops signal or anything when wiggling the wires. Nothing of the sort happened.- Works in promiscuous mode.

    Definitely a must-have. You just never know when you'll need a 2nd Ethernet port.
  • Good NIC

    it's a very cheap board and it does what's it suppose to do.
    I got it working with my nano board within a half hour. It needs an alternative library for arduino:https://github.com/jcw/ethercardA webserver with led control:http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=112323.0Pin layout: X = do not connectX CLKout | X INT X WOL | D12 -> SO (MISO)D11 -> SI | D13 -> SCKD08 -> CS | X RESET3.3v -> VCC | GRD -> GRND
    If you need a cheap lan nic for arduino, buy this one!
  • For experienced Android users

    Cheap. Good looking. Has a pig tail.
    I looking 2 months for adaptation this stuff to Android device. The problem has been found is that card ID is not included to asix driver, but the real support is here. If the card you bought is recognized in Windows as HG20F9 then the solution is replacid other ID with the ID of your card. Just use Hex Editor for finding 950b2b77 digits in asix.ko file and replacing it with 6b06f920 reboot and enjoy
    Good cheap solution if you know how to fix problems.

    Very easy to use, just install the software, and then it is plug and play!At first i didn't see the disc, so I tried pluging it in, and it didn't work. But when I installed the software, there were no problems at all.I think it is great that it comes with USB 3.0. It is a little bit faster than the normal USB 2.0.
    I would recommend this to my friends, who haven't got any Ethernet port on their laptop.
    A very nice thing to have, if your laptop hasn't got any RJ45 port. Very easy to install, and then it is just plug the adapter in an USB port. Then you have internet!
