Inexpensive. You can assemble a home-made car on a simple air bldc motor. A large supply of current for small size. Has a built in BEC, thick wire, indicating that the current stock. Motor size 2618 for 2-Lee at once warmed up, the controller at the same time stay cool
Reverse is in this regulator. Implemented for auto transmitter with low speed trigger, the transmitter Hobby King 2.4Ghz 6 ch, the engine spins at a minimum during the throttle.
Overall a good device at a low price. Further operation will show his quality
  • great product for begginers

Looks great and is a good build overall, worked right out of the box!
would be nice if it had a manual with it, but a quick search for tutorial on how to setup ECS with arduino gave me the nedeed code to set it up!
just remember you need to set starting speed to 10 then max speed to 180 and later on back to 10, only then you can start controlling the speed with arduino, should work with normal controllers no problem!
  • Used it for plane

Very small size of this speed controller. I used it in my glider, but I had to change some setting on the remote since throttle begins in the middle of throttle. I have to be care full when braking, because if I hit brake twice it starts reverse... not very good for planes :-))
Nice little compact controller for any RC and also with brake.
If you need to substitute your ontroller for older brushed motor, than you can try it for plane as I did. Go for it...
  • It controls the speed of a motor

It is fairly easy to set up if you know what you're doing. The wiring diagram is in Chinese but English versions are on the net. The controller apparently works with wattages from 5 to 140 watts and has a maximum current rating of 5 amps. I ended up using a 5k pot to get finer speed control. It is very easy to wire up as the actual module is removable from the base. It is rack mountable.
I used it on a bread maker turned coffee roaster and it is of limited use as the load varies over time, so the rpm varies as well.
It works and seems well made.
