    Works perfectly with Linux.
Kernel Module: dvb_usb_it913xNeed to install firmware dvb-usb-it9135 before use (For ArchLinux users: it is in the AUR repository)After installing kernel module, it shows up in tvheadend, adding frequencies for my country (the Netherlands) and scanning finds all the channels.I do not own a digitenne smartcard so I can only receive public and regional channels, but I have satellite tv for commercial channels anyways.
Fine DVB-T receiver for use with Linux

    - open firmware - you can receive anything from FM radio, to airband, to aviation transponder replies- great community software and easy setup
I haven't tested it for actual DVB-T reception, as TV in my country is rubbish :-)
As soon as I have some spare cash, I'm going to buy several more, since this is the ultimate software-driven radio for just a bit above $10
  • Cheap SDR dongle

+It is very cheap compared to ordinary radio receivers+Has a relatively wide range+Easy to use for both SDR and regular TV/FM listening purposes
It is not hard to replace antenna to a better one and to solder in a cheap ESD protectiont diode like BAV99.This dongle is very useful when working with local or stronger signals where you don't need fancy high-end receivers.
In general it is a good and cheap broad range SDR receiver, but a better equipment is needed for advanced tasks.
  • Works in linux, small, good value!

Excellent little device, very similar to another SKU I already bought on DX.
It's an ITE 9135 chipset so it does work in linux using a module you'll need to compile.
Picture quality and reception are good even with the tiny included aerial which has a nice magnetic base.
Works well in Switzerland and the UK (Freeview).
They're so cheap you could buy a couple of them and make a really great PVR with multiple channels recording.
Well worth the money. It's a really nice portable tuner to take with you when you travel.

    - cheap- easy to use- works on XP,Vista,Win7- software is great- included CD works- drivers are good- comes with a common RF antenna socket which is great, so no adapter is required- works good on HD signal
-antenna works good if you stick it on somethnig metal, but only if you have good reception
    - best usb dvb-t dongle on dealextreme
