  • Bright!

Great value for your moneyExtremely small SMD great for DIY projects that could use a little light. All six leads are presented, so you can choose to use a common cathode or annode.Or you could drive just a single color and leave the others disconnected.Comes in a strip that keeps the unused leds nice and safe untill it's time to use them
I should buy more of these :PKeep a close eye on the amount of amparage you supply, also make sure to monitor temperature while experimenting. If the SMD gets hot, disconnect and try less amps / lower voltage
Great value, super small, very bright if you supply the right current.
  • Very bright quality RGB LED light

    - Nice and compact.- Nice build quality.- Very bright.- Easy to connect and to work with.- Works nicely with PWM control.
There are no resistors mounted on the board. They are not needed of you are working with microprocessors like the Arduino. They work directly on the PWM output pins of the Arduino (3,3V). At 3,3V the LEDs are very bright, and get warm, but extremes are not exceeded.
For testing this module with an Arduino, follow this tutorial here: http://www.arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/ColorCrossfader

Very useful for when you've cut your LED strip and want to use multiple control units. Solderless connection is strong and tight, male pins fit perfectly into female jack. Wires are colour coded inside the main white cord so you can strip it and modify or extend the cord.
The only thing that makes it male is the little male-male pins on one side. These should be for sale separately as well.
I will be ordering more of these in bulk to keep in my kit. Best way to save money on multiple LED strip projects is buy 5m strips, cut them and use these to attached to control units.
  • Very good connectors

Basicly the same as with the review of the female connectors:-good quality-nicely built-easy to solder cables-nice color- connection from cable to connector is very good (not only connected by solder points but also by plastic surrounding).
i used this in my car and because of vibrations the male and female connectors would let go of eachother, if you use this in your house or something you wouldn't have any problem with it
get it if you are looking to make your led strips plug and play

Very good qualitynice finish of the connector and cableeasy to soldersturdy connection from cable to connector (it doesn't feel like you are putting pressure on the connections from cable to connector when pulling on the cable
I used it in the car so i used zip ties to keep male and female together because of the vibrations in a car. when you would use it around the house it wouldn't be needed.
Get this if you are looking for something to make plug and play ledstrips
