  • Cool electronic clock

    posted by madmax1981

It is a cool electronic clock, it look's very nice on the desk. It came packed in bubble foil. It has temperature sensor and it can display the temperature wich is very usefull. It has 4 display modes: only clock, only date, only temperature and alternate. The temperature is not very accurate, but if you have a accurate termometer you can correct the error because the module has that function. Also has the correction function for the clock too.
This is a cool clock with bright led's.
  • Good and funny

It is fun to use and see the kids having fun with the product. Children are entertained making a big straw to drink. It has the necessary connectors for large straws for drinking and drinking two cups or more.
Easy to clean with a long brush and some hot water, if pueen not put the dishwasher
Its fun and will keep the kid busy for a while
  • Inexpensive clips, but careful when soldering

    posted by walterwpg2

A very inexpensive set of electronic clips. They work well enough.
I bought a couple of sets of these, in different colours. It would be nice to buy a set of clips that already has an assortment of different colours. It would be good to have clips that had built-in pins that mated with the female wire leads that DX sells.
These are very inexpensive clips, but you have to be very careful when soldering on the wires.
  • Cheap, but something is missing

Very cheap! This set cost less than what I will have to pay for just one at a profi store.
DX has a single 28 pin ZIF socket, Unfortunately that one will not take 300 mil chips.Best solution for me would be a more universal 300/600 mil socket, and I know they exist, but I can work around that with this set.
If you know what you are going to use in a foreseeable future, and you can work around the missing universal or narrow 24/28 pin sockets, this is a good buy.
  • Very good inductor set

All values are clearly marked on the tape and also marked by color code.Long legs make it suitable for both solderless breadboard prototyping and PCB-based designs.
The absence of some standard values seems to be extremely strange. 12X, 15X and 68X are standard members of value line but they are not present here.
Good choice for common electronics projects, but not suitable for specific RF, precise or powerful projects.
