  • A friendly little driver

    They work, have proper efficiency and come to a fair price. The simple layout makes it easy to tweak the driver for your specific application. It fits lots of Flashlight shells and modules sold on dx.Take a 7135 chipp off and you get 700ma.So you can use for other leds or you can add a 7135 and get 1400ma just a good driver.
    It should be better to write a couple lines in product description - about installation and configuration of this driver just so the younger people can understand how things work .I'd buy another one :)
    nice driver if you dont want all the other modes just on off works for me.

    +Small diameter+Quality PC board;+Good looking:)+Well soldered;+Accurate specifications;+Comes with soldered wires;+Good efficiency;+Good diameter for most 1AA flashlights;
    Can be sanded to smaller diameter.With 2 AA batteries the modes work perfect,bright enough and the strobe is very good(not too fast).It's perfect tactical led driver.Always starts on High,Medium is very good and the strobe is excellent.Watch my video!
    Will be good if the board works properly at low voltage-1AA flashlights are more popular than the 2AA flashlights.Probably works well with CR123 batteries 3V.

    7135 chipsRegulatedMemoryReal output advertised
    This regulator drive out fairly steadily 1.4 amps. in max. mode.Exactly: 1.35 in high mode, 0.4 in middle, 0.6 in low (fluctuating in sos and fast strobe modes).I have put it, working together with a 16 mm alu base Cree R5 led in my Trustfire TR-801, and it bright now 25%-30% more than the original Cree Q5 led, giving a really flood light!According Cree data sheets, Cree R5 can hold up 1,5 mA, so this regulated circuit is perfect to this led. Other drivers that can only drive up 1000 Ma, will give 25% less light tan this.
    I recommend it
  • Quite decent. Does what it says

    Drives over 2,5 amp. Pieces look quite sturdy so it should last some good time.Good voltage input range. Using it on a vehicle for offroad light, so up to 18volts looks fine.At 12 volts and less it drives 2 series XM-L, possibly 3Get hot, but does not get *too* hot3 modes... I'd count it as a Con, but it is what I've bought, and already worked that around.
    none at the moment...
    Works well, check it first, put sturdy wires.Good solid circuit for your mods.
