This is a good dive torch.
I use it for Caving /Mine exploration mounted on the side of a helmet.
Good magnetic switch the torch colour is also very good makes finding it easy.
The use of AA's is good a common easily avalible size you can use rechargable nimh as well.
Good double "o" ring seal reliable current limmit resistor fitted(which can be modified with a driver replacement).
Cheaper than some similar dive torches which is a big plus point.
It's a light weight torch as well.
    Tight bright beam.
  • Excellent for that price

not heavy, easy to handle and the switch is too light, easy to on/off. Light is stronger than I've anticipated. Excellent for that price. Battery handled 7 hours of dive. I used it pretty much but still full
you can find no better for that price. it only took 2 weeks for shipment. did not expect that too. I've already exceeded 20m and still water proof
all over its good. same products aroun 25$ in Turkey. good to have it on half price

very bright, good battery life waterproof, light weight
what is it about these ridiculous modes, just cause you have room on the microcontroller you have to make the flashlight flash SOS or the Gettysburg Address in morse code?? A simple stepless PWM brightness control, maybe with duty cycle variable would be the best system possible IMHO.
nicely made light makes a useful gift, If it lost strobe (and had 5 x XM-L2 T6s!) it would be perfect.

Waterproof to >=106 feet with the use of silicone greaseIt's a very bright, white lightExcellent as non-dive light tooRuns on 4 AAsDecent battery life
If you're going to use this as a dive light, get some silicone grease (also available on dx, SKU 47418)I tested the waterproofness as stated by actually diving with the light. At 30 feet, it appeared as if a small amount of water entered the housing.
    Great light, flashy colour
  • Nice light, nice price

    Two modes
    Nice size
    Bright in high mode
    Rugged construction
    Nice price
Received mine yesterday. 1,35A at the taicap. The battery was 3.86v.
A bright hotspot at the center, and a big circle with even light with lower intencity.
I had to tighten the inner parts of the tailcap to get it in working order.
I used it for abaut 20 minutes and the head got quite a bit warm.
    In low mode 0,06A.
Taking it for a dive today.
And yes this is backupligt good as any.
In low mode "instrument light", that is what i intend to use it for.
At 0.06A it should last for some dives.
And yes i think this will withstand the rated depth.
    I would buy it again
