Full remote functionality AF+ Trigger + Bulb. Price: comparable Canon is $49. Solid. Decent length cable so you won't tug on the fittings. Plug fits nicely in the camera. English user manual.
If you need a wired remote for your 30D you won't do much, if any, better buying the Canon model. But you certainly will be throwing away at least $30 bucks you could be using on a new filter or ...
    If you've a 30D get it.

Seems to do what it says - a 4 port KVM switch. Keyboard switching, no power supply needed.
This unit does not require a power supply. According to the manual you only need an external power supply if your PC can't supply enough power via the keyboard connection (on some laptops for instance).

Also - it _does_ support keyboard switching - so you can hide the box away - press scroll-lock twice, then arrow keys or 1,2,3,4 and it takes you to that screen. This is a nice feature. It also supports an auto-scan mode switching between all screens automatically until a key is pressed.

Of course, you can also press physical the button on the unit to change screens.
Nice little KVM for home/office use. I replaced an analogue KVM switch (with a large manual knob) and this DX one is much better - no noise on the video, and automatic switching from the keyboard.

Tested on a Canon 7D, it's working as expected. Holding option, half-pressed option (for focus etc) Remote control
Don't forget to switch the auto-holding button of. Or it looks as though your camera doesn't react to anything you do! :)I had one for an older camera 350D from Canon but that one does not fit a Canon 7D
If you are not using these devices much then you are making a good choise using this one for a very affordable price.

    Good build.
The contacts of the pins are really nice and looks like they will last long.
Lock button works fine and is ideal for bulb exposures.
I find that the cable is length is just right for general use.

  • Very good simple intervalometer

Works as expected, simple to use, well built.
It works great with my Panasonic m4/3 camera, it is very well built and easy to use. The manual is ok, and after few minutes of getting to know the device you are ready to go. There is an option to set the length of an exposure on the intervalometer itself, but if you set it to 0'00'' you leave it to the camera's shutter speed.
    Great product.
