  • Seems accurate, but little slow

This is perfect for cooking: I use it a lot, for example to measure the inner temperature of meat to check whether it had the right "doneness" of to measure the water temperature when boiling an egg (the perfect temperature for that is between 80 and 90 degrees centigrade, not 100 degrees as many people think). Build quality seems quite fine.
It has pretty little buttons but that's not really important to me.
    Works fine but slow.

Very easy to use. Just touch with your finger the circles to switch it on. This gadget is something else than just a mechanical switch. That is really the better alternative. Good quality of the printed circuit board. Works with 5V DC power. I tested it with arduino.
Can be really used for very different projects. Just let your imagination work.
Connect to power - and here we go. Enjoy.
  • Very useful sensor

Temperature and humidity sensor very useful for measuring aaplicaciones in electronic equipment, ultra-low power which can be installed on portable equipment, good coverage that protects from bumps
I would put a protection of cables and most suitable electric insulation on the data bus, and some form of external calibration
The bottom line is excellent for measuring these parameters and make a datalogger equipment to sample and store temperature and humidity with a microcontroller.

Very good price for an Arduino sensor module. You can probably adjust the sensitivity but it may work fine without adjustment, depending on your needs.
The "out" pin is normally in an on or high state. In your Arduino code you will need to monitor for that pin switching to a low state. You will probably want to also add a slight delay following the pin state read operation so it does not register multiple events every time it detects something...unless that is what you want.
Great sensor module that works. Easy to use once you figure out the "out" pin as stated above.
  • Nice digital temp/humidity sensor!

Packaging was great. Device worked right out of the box with Arduino DHT11 libraries. Lots of fun to play with!
The break-out board is nice and it makes it super easy to plug into bread-board and get it running.
I'm seriously considering buying several to monitor the conditions in my beer fridges....
