  • Very good. worth its price

Packaged in 2 plastic bags, might be useful to prevent damage during transportation.Build quality is good, as usual for these devices.Color temperature is warm, but not too yellowish, to me its more than 3000K.
Used sku.54004 to power it up and PC CPU heat sink to keep it cool.Regular aluminum CPU sink is not enough for long-term usage (may need active cooling).Radiator gets very hot (>50C) after ~30s.
Compared to other similar devices this one definitely worth buying - price/quality is outstanding. If only it lasts the same time as it should.
  • Great small Ampère meter

    posted by gijsnoorlander

Really simple to use and surprisingly accurate for a good price.According to the specs, it should accept a wide range for the power (4.5 - 28V). I tested it on 5.2Volt DC.
I just tested the meter with my power-supply and the Uni-trend UT71A multimeter in series (see review-photos of this product) and it seems they both agree on the amount of current. This meter is a bit off below the 100 mA and near 0 it is completely off. (assuming my multimeter is correct)I just bought this meter as a replacement for the current-meter in my powersupply, which is broken.I am not sure whether it is allowed to have the power for the meter itself connected to the measuring pins, or that the power itself has to be floating (galvanic separated). I am using it floating (separate winding from the transformator), so that shouldn't be any problem. The internal shunt looks to be 0.005 Ohm, so at 5 Amps the Voltage-drop should be about 0.025V, which is well acceptable. Probably the other cables and plugs will have a bigger resistance.
Great meter which can be used for a lot of projects or replacement part for a broken or missing meter in a power-supply.
  • Awesome, I am very satisfyed

The products (I have bought 2 motors) where very carefully packed, and this is awesome. The motors worked out of the box, no problem (other that I had to find a schema to connect things in the internet).
It would be great if there were instructions on how to connect the product with the Arduino board, along with some example code.
In the end, after finding a schema of connection and a sample code on the web, all worked as expected. The motors are slow, but very strong, and my circuits did not heat at all. I was very pleased with my purchase.
  • Works but not with smartphones

    posted by vavatl

    - works- cheap- wires are appropriately long- has two USB connectors
Would be much better if it could charge mobile phones at full speed.
Good but does not work with smartphones. I imagine GPS units and other electronics that only use USB for charging would be fine.
  • Variable voltageboost from 12v to 35v.

    posted by qwwwizx

    - Size, a very small package- Mount feets- Easy to equip - Very easy to use- Looks as good quality work- Very cheep
I bought this to be able to variable boost voltage going to 12 non-pwm computer fans and to test if it can provide enough power to supply some smaller peltier elements. So far I have tested the voltage going smoothly from 12v to 35v, and a 3000 rpm scythe 120x38mm fan. My god a fan like that can eject some air when voltage goes up.
Better than I expected. Looks a lot bigger on the picture on DX.com than it really is. I am very satisfied.
