  • Excellent EDC torch

ITS BLUE! My wife loves the colour. It takes batteries you can actually buy pretty much anywhere. And its excellently bright.
It feels like it would survive a good impact, the walls of the body are quite thick. The pen-clip is probably a weak point, but serves to stop the torch rolling away. The blue colour makes it look less imposing and less like a barrel.
Cheap good EDC torch / flashlight. Cree LED for the win.

    - Good solid build of the aluminum body.- Very precise and well done focusing mechanism.- Useful metallic clip.- Very bright.- All caps have o-rings for water protection- Charging jack has a metal jacket for protection.- After each mode it's an OFF position, so you don't have to cycle each time all the modes.
    - It uses just one 18650 to run, but comes with another spare battery (total of two cells).
    - It's a very good flashlight, solid build, water protected. The price could be a bit better, or the accessories could be better.
  • An OK universal flashlight

18650 or AAA batteries can be used, it looks OK. It is rather easy to go from square spot to spill. It can tailstand. It is suitable for bicycle riding but you may want to consider other flaslights as it loses light having no reflector.Otherwise an OK/good piece of manufacturing. My light dropped on stones after lanyard broke, which resulted maybe in a couple of small specs on the body but one has really search for them and there was no effect on function.
It has no hotspot. The spill is even with a couple of ligt rings outside but they are negligable. It has no reflector, so much light is lost when in spot mode.I has, IMHO, a simple plastic lens, no fancy coatings whatsoever. The High mode draws up to 2.05 A (at least - my DMM probably is an average and may not be very accurate). Middle mode is about 0.8A, Low is 0.03 (mostly on my DMM), rarely it can get to 0.14A. I tried to get stable measurement but sometimes it is just brighter than usually.Head does not get hot or even warm after half an hour so it may really not take 2.8A current and/or heatsinking is not that good.It has an O ring at the tail but no on the front.Threads on the tail are pretty shallow and are not square but worked fine for me.
It is a bright light after my ~5 y. old one, it is good for riding a bicycle if you do not require hotspot or correctly working memmory. Middle mode has OK/satisfacory light levels for riding, and High mode is more comfortable. Low could be used too in darkness but it would force you into rather slow ride. A light with reflector will not be as adjustable but may throw more light and not just absorb it.

*This light is extremely bright, i mean, EXTREMELY!You can easly dazzle/blind someone even 100m far.*It is very nicely machined and looks pretty good*The light beam is focusable from very open to a very very focused beam*Lens made of glass -also a con-*White light*Almost sealed battery pack*2 Different size rubber rign*1 amp Charger*5:40 continuous hours In "low"
*It takes like 5-6 hours for full charge*The charger changes its led color, from red (discharged) to yellowish green (full charged)*I dont think it is weather proof, rain either in real situations, because the light is focusable it has moving parts, which can be easly reached by water, so keep that it mind, Mine got some fog inside the lens after using it on a rainy day
If you want a nice light, this is what you are looking for, because it is focusable. Most of the other lights are very focused in one spot, so it wont be good at all for biking.
  • High quality flashlight

    * Very good mechanically, feels solid.* Very good quality of light (color temperature).* Wide zoom is really wide and throw is good.
By far the best flashlight I've got.The 3-modes is just perfect, Hi > Mid > Low.Supposed to be waterproof. Haven't tried this yet, but I have no reason not to believe that.Would be perfect if there was a flashlight like this with more modern LED-emitter and 18650-battery.
Need a high quality AAA-flashlight? Buy this.
