  • Not 975 lumens flashlight

    posted by KenatSurrey

The quality of the flashlight is excellent. Good size for EDC. No complaints on the fit and finish of the flashlight. The emitter was not centered on the reflector and has a very slight hot spot on the light.
Single battery and charger is fine but would prefer 2 battery with a dual charger. Overall this is a good starter set.
Not what I ordered for the brightness level. I haven't decided if I want to return for the correct flashlight.
  • Awesome Light

Bright Very Bright. 5 Modes with Memory. Great heat sinking. Tight battery fit (doesnt rattle). Built in clip. Good O-rings (glow in the dark). Nice finish and feel. Feels pretty well balanced. Good threads that mesh very well.
This light is as bright as my million candle power spotlight. It has a nice balance between throw and spill. Has really good range almost as bright as the headlights on my car (one of them anyway).
A solid and well built, extremely bright Cree led light.
Definetly recommend. Only regret is I should have bought 2.
  • Cool Flashlight, can be hot too!

    posted by JHM64

For just under $34 this is a real bargain. This is a very, very solidly built Flashlight which produces an impressive amount of very white light. All threads are nicely cut, with (mostly double) lubricated O-rings in every joint. Good beamer with with moderate spill. I especially like the Titanium Grey finish which makes it stand out from the (predominantly black) crowd.
Build quality is really worth five stars if it weren't for the heatsinking issue. But as said, this can be overcome.
It's quite heavy. I would have liked it if it had come with a clip for carrying the light on my belt when not in use.
At this price, this light is pretty amazing. It looks and feels much more expensive than it is. If you want it to last for a long time, make sure to fix the heatsinking issue.
  • Solid construction, good bright light

    posted by HouseofStrauss

Good solid construction in die-cast aluminium, offering more than adequate heat dissipation. NIce stainless fixings, again solid and sturdy. The wire is heavy weight rubberised insulated both on external and internal cores. Light out put is typical cree XML t6 quality, but this light has a nice shiny reflector giving a good long range bean with 30' throw. The lens is plastic and well recessed that looks like it will protect well from stones and chips. we'll see.
The bracket and construction is well made, and appears to resist vibration shake from the engine.
Good delivery times, considering it comes from China, no custom problems to UK. The unit gives a great light and suitable as a bike or car ancillary spotlight that will give a brilliant long range beam not unlike a high quality XML t6 torch. Slightly more beam divergence makes it well suited for road use. So far well recommended.
  • Really nice light for the money

Seems like nice quality. Really great output. Easy-to-use. Very nice price compared to other "high-powered" bikelights.
The indicatorlight in the switch is a bit too bright when you are driving in the dark. But that can be fixed with a small sticker.
Haven't yet figured out the charging time. It doesn't matter if it's just because it has a long charging time, if I just knew. Otherwise I wouldn't hesitate to buy this product again (o:
