  • Good, bright and long working flashlight

    posted by Xen0ff

    1) Good build quality: no plastic, only glass and metal, rubber O-rings on each side of the case. Threads seem to be lubricated with silicon;2) Orange peel reflector - smoother beam;3) Optimal (for me) ratio of brightness/battery life: more than one hour on max mode, about 4 hours on middle brightness;4) Good heat dispersal because of large head.5) Mods give 100 - 30 - 5 % of power6) Hard anodizing - not easy to scratch
To deal with unnecessary modes used soldering iron to slightly modify the driver. Not much skill needed for this. Now I have only High > Mid > Low.
I bought this flashlight as a bicycle light - and it's just what I needed. The beam has a bright large spot in the center and wide glare. The way in front is brightly lit and also you can see what is on the sides of the road. Also fits as a EDC flashlight if you have a bag with you (not very suitable for pocket, look for a flashlight with smaller head).
  • Solid construction, good bright light

    posted by HouseofStrauss

Good solid construction in die-cast aluminium, offering more than adequate heat dissipation. NIce stainless fixings, again solid and sturdy. The wire is heavy weight rubberised insulated both on external and internal cores. Light out put is typical cree XML t6 quality, but this light has a nice shiny reflector giving a good long range bean with 30' throw. The lens is plastic and well recessed that looks like it will protect well from stones and chips. we'll see.
The bracket and construction is well made, and appears to resist vibration shake from the engine.
Good delivery times, considering it comes from China, no custom problems to UK. The unit gives a great light and suitable as a bike or car ancillary spotlight that will give a brilliant long range beam not unlike a high quality XML t6 torch. Slightly more beam divergence makes it well suited for road use. So far well recommended.
  • Very high quality

    posted by ibbleobble

This a very solid, high quality light. The front is screwed in tightly, and there are two o rings, one to seal the front, and another to protect the lens from the glass. It is definitely a Cree XM-L, as seen in the photo. I measured the wattage at just over 9 watts, which is probably the maximum you could drive it in such a small package. The case gets hot in a warm, still room, but not too hot. It seems to have effective heat management, and the mounting is very secure. The wire is thick and well insulated. It is very bright.
I'm not sure if the beam angle is really sixty degrees. It seems fairly narrow to me, but good for a motorbike light, or landscape lighting.
I'm very pleased. I may put it on my scooter, or use it for outdoor lighting at my shop. I will probably buy more.
  • Nice flashlight kit for it's price.

    posted by maxiatom

    1. Very bright white light.2. Truly Cree XM-L inside with 6 yellow strips and 3 brass bonding wires (But the sign on handgrip means "R2").3. Intelligence charger (with red/yellow/green led indicator).4. The alloy case is really well made.5. Multi-mode with memory.
Best buy for it's price as a kit. Very suitable for beginners, 'cause includes battery and charger.
Would recommend to anyone who looking for a cheap, lightweight and bright flashlight.
  • Good Hi-Beam bike light

    posted by 11bass

Powerful cycle light. Beam is enough for fast running in night time, even lo-mode is enough for speed about 20-30 km/h (10-20 mph) quite long-life battery in good waterproof metal case and easy mounting tissue case give possibility for rainy night trips. Enough informative 4 colour button. (blue - full voltage, green - normal voltage, yellow - half voltage, Red - low voltage). Charger with charging indication. Every work morning run till university 20 min by cycle with light, most road in use low-mode, some places in use full-mode, battery charging ones per week, in cold times (-15 -20C) twice per week
In all time of use for me was enough illumination on road by this light.
Most powerful cycle light what i'm ever use.
