  • Nice versatile light.

Very bright, good throw. Uses both CR123 and AA batteries. Very pocketable size when used with 1xCR123 (about 3.2" long).
Beam a little purple. Brightness seems to be the same with 1xCR123 as it is with 2xAA. Fairly tight spot with smooth side spill.
    Nice single mode light.
  • This is an awesome little thrower

Somewhat compact design, excellent fit & finish. Lots of light for such a small light.
My wife has a Romisen RC-G2 (AA battery,) and being a flashaholic, I ordered this to replace it. This is the exact same length as the Romisen, but it was too wide for her liking. The bolt-looking pattern does protrude a bit making it even bulkier. She said it was too big to keep in her purse, so it's getting relegated to the glove box of the car.
It's a great little light. Throws a ton (over 100 yards.) If you aren't put off by the thicker body, I'd recommend it without hesitation.
  • Awesome

Strong, well made, useful modes, bright, can use with 18650, 123a and AAALasts longer on half mode
Used for several years.Have bought about 20 of these for myself and friends. Use 2 daily for 10 mile cycle commute, 1 flashing 1 constant. I use rechargeable 18650s. Have dropped several times.Quite a heavy, solid torchNo problems
Can't ask for much more for your money

Very nice looking. Good build quality. Two O-rings on head and one on tailcap.Glass lens. Fit and finish are very good. No blemishes anywhere. 5 modes. Reverse clicky. It's an excellent "thrower," and should be good for long distance. It still has good useable "spill" light so you can also see things up close. 240 lumens is probably close to the actual output. It's pretty bright.
I see no good reason for next mode memory in a flashlight. I would have rated it higher if it didn't have this type of memory.
If you want a really nice looking light, that's anexcellent "thrower" and don't mind this type of memory, than for this price, it's a good deal.
  • A lightweight singe mode thrower

Wow. The quoted small output of this torch (230 lumens) does not do the torch justice. When I first open the box I was impressed with the quality of the torch body. A very nice black anodised type finish with good quality threads. I purchased this torch to mount above a rimfire rifle scope and am very impressed with the light weight of the torch. Given the single mode of the torch it will suit this application perfectly in conjunction with a remote switch. The beam is very narrow with very little halo spread. This means it throws the majority of its light a long way out so not so good for general usage. The 18650 battery provides long life.
An excellent quality torch for those that require light weight with an excellent long narrow beam.
    Great value.
