PerformanceSizeA lot of connectors an I/O portsThere are some linux distros which work on this board by defaultNice skeleton chassisVery good price/performance ratio
There is no description for USB OTG port in specs and I've supposed that it's microUSB. Found that it is miniUSB (it wasn't a real problem for me, just a surprise)
    It's a good choice

Excellent quality, all pins available, beautifully minimal. Comes with full schematics and lots of demo software.
Get a PL2303 USB adapter for the USART port, SKU: 161543You will also need a debugger. ST/Link V2 is very inexpensive and works well. The enclosed cable draws power from your computer's USB, you might want to get an external power supply.Get your free development tools here:http://launchpad.net/gcc-arm-embeddedWaveshare should add support for free development environments to their demo software, either Makefiles or eclipse projects.More interesting software for this board:http://andybrown.me.uk/wk/category/stm32plus/
Raw power, if you need it

Cubieboard 2 embeds a dual core processor which makes ideal for embedded multimedia applications since it has two Mali 400 MP2. I tested the processor at 80MHZ and the resulting BogoMIPS were 119.10. The dram size is 1024MB, two chips of 512MB x16. It has great connectivity peripherals.
It does come with a complete set of cables, SATA, power and RS-232 to USB Converter. Details on how to connect 3V3 RS-232 to USB cable drecly to your PC.
Essentially the Cubieboard is as stripped down bare metal tablet that can me customized to any developers need. I would recommend it but essential Linux programming is highly required.
