  • Strong build for strong hands

I use them to modd a Gilera Runner headlight (manufactured DMP, not an original). So, fits perfectly as near beam light. I cut some copper at tail and screw this reflector to big heatsink. My Luminus SSR-90 fits perfectly. If You plain to fit SSC-P7, You will need to drill this reflector to get suitable hole. I think it is acceptable and you get good SSC-P7 41.5mm reflector.
Base has superior place for up to 19.5mm diameter constant current driver.
    Useful if suited by diameters))
  • These are quite good (but although a bit expensive!!!)!!!

The copper pads are of high quality and of good thickness - you could feel the weight of this thing once you pick one of these up. They have a nice metallic luster to them which suggests that they had indeed been properly processed.
To be honest they are quite expensive although they are a good product. I guess in the future if I do need to buy something like this I'd rather search for a local store or reconsider other similar cheaper products that DX offers here.
Well if anyone out there is that much a die-hard fan of copper then go ahead and buy these if there isn't a store near you offering copper plates (in general; you can always cut pieces of copper with decent metal shears).
  • Excellent Replacement for Thick Thermal Pads

    posted by ncc74656m

These little guys may look pointless, but unfortunately, they are more necessary than most people give them credit for. Many laptop manufacturers resort to using thick thermal 'pads' to help transfer heat from secondary chips (GPU, Bridges), and even the CPU from time to time, because the heat sink wasn't thick enough to reach the chip as designed. This poor design causes excess heat buildup and thermal inefficiency. Replacing these pads with these shims and some high quality thermal compound is a great alternative.
    None
If your laptop uses this type of cooling system and you don't mind doing a little surgery, these babies sell themselves.

  • Really helps with my heating issue

Product came in a reasonable amount of time, came with applied sticky thermal pads. Thermal pads sticks well and does not fall of easily, have been using it for about a month now and the heat sink are still stuck rigid.
Would have been better if the thermal pad were thinner so heat can pass through more easily and faster.
Solid build, copper heatsink really helps in keeping my NAS processor cooler and keeps the fan from having to crank up all the time.
