  • Good driver but needs cooling

    posted by Cy4n1d3

The amount of power delivered is indeed enough for about 6w of led lights. The price is low and the item is easy to use. Current seems to be pretty stable, no huge fluctuations or flickering.
If they don't die within a die, they work fine.
+delivers pretty stable current+good bang for the buck+amount of power delivered satisfying-driver gets pretty hot-two out of three died within a short timeframe, could be a bad batch thoughIf they work, they work fine. I still would recommend heatsinking them to make sure they last.
  • Great value!

Really nice product. Has a big passive cooler at the back of it and the LED just loves it. My LED was rated at slightly more than 100W, but this driver did the job. Easy to solder connections and no faulty solder joints.
Wires are short and really thin (as with any driver) and need to be replaced, but this is really simple.
A really nice product for the money. I can really recommend it.
  • Very good T10 LED lamp

It really has current regulation. Current draw is same 53-56 mA at 13.5 V and at 23 V input voltage. Maximum current for used emitters is 60 mA, so unlike most LED lamps that one is slightly underdriven, it will not overheat and burn out.Warm white LEDs are much closer to incandescent light than common bluish cool white. It will not mess with the color of the dashboard indicators and is easier for eyes in darkness.Generally, LED lamps take muck less power than incandescent bulbs and produce more light. That one is not an exception.
LEDs are diodes, so they need to be plugged with proper polarity. There are no marks on the lamp, but if you look to the side with hieroglyphic picture, three-legged chip is at minus side and "121" resistor is at plus side.Light goes to sides and not directly forward. Can be a pro, a con, but mostly it doesn't matter.
Good replacement lamp. Work much longer than cheaper lamps and brighter than bulbs.
  • Great for driving two 30W LEDS

    posted by rusty1964

Easy to connect and use.Does not get too warm with generous heatsink fitted.
This unit, plus two 30W warm white LEDs makes great room lighting, noticeably brighter than equivalent power of compact fluoros, and no two minute wait for the fluoros to reach full brightess. The turn on delay is disconcerting for a few days and then you get used to it and stop having a momentary thought that the lights have failed :-)
  • excellent source of current

Excellent source of current. Provides constant current over a wide voltage range. I measured the range from 24V to 35V and the current was still exactly the same 320 mA. The source is pleasantly small, execution is precise. Insulated against water. When operating with a minimum of heat. I eat it with powering 10W 3200K LED module, function OK.
Great little resource with a wide range of supply voltage. Ideal for LED applications from the 8 to 14 LEDs.
