It has built in LCD back lightIt held comfortably in your handButtons are layout nicelyShutter half release button works wonderfully for auto focusingIt uses 2 x AAA batteries (Bundled in this package)It can work as a trigger without any batteriesIt is well built
It's a great shutter remote control if you are looking to do time lapse or to use it as a shutter release button. You may have to fiddle with it a bit to understand how it works because the user manual is not that much helpful
  • good, with building problems

Works well as a flash trigger, i like the umbrella holder.
It is good for flash triggering(maybe for camera triggering too, I can't do that)if you take care not to move the flash. I think the price is a little bit high.
  • Excellent!

I've been using it on my Canon XS with the YN460 flash and it fires (or triggers the camera) reliably every time. The construction is OK, battery life is great. It uses a pair of AAA batteries, which is good because they're really easy to find. The ability to control camera, portable flash and studio strobe is awesome.
I'd have bought more of these by now if DX orders didn't take 2 months to arrive in Brazil.
As I said, it's a great product that might need some simple soldering if you want to use it as a shutter controller.Small, reliable, versatile, and cheap. What more could you want? I liked it so much, I just bought a second pair.
  • Good radio flash

    - it's small;- it's portable;- it's light;- it's works very well within some meters;- the receiver uses 2x AAA batteries (not included), which are cheap and easy to find;- it's possible to add more receivers to grow up the net of flashes;- it has 16 channels to guarantee exclusivity signal during use and avoid the same channel that another person;- it has 1/200s sync speed;- it works with studio lights, speedlites and is a remote camera control also.
It's a basic tool for photographers of both indoor and outdoor activities.
It's worth for the price and the features.
  • Also works with Pentax K100D

Ease of use depends on the camera - Pentax K100Ds will fire their shutters with these, more will require far more manual reading which I have not yet done.
It is not the fault of the maker that the camera makes this very, very hard to use - got quite a lot of pictures of my hands while trying to figure it out.
Cheap, effective. At about 1% of the price of the branded ones, what have you got to lose?
