  • Professional flash bracket

    posted by bolmania

It is a very solid bracket. Truly professional. Can be folded by unlocking the joints. These are solid as well.At the top is a flash hotshoe, which can be screwed off. This is very handy, as one would need to use a flash cable. The end of the cable (which is also a hotshoe) can simply be screwed on.
Now I need to find the occasion to use the flash on this bracket. I am not really a professional who needs to flash on a daily basis.
It is definitely a good investment.
  • If you know what it is and you need one...

Great build - Great quality and cheaper than the alternatives
You'll also need a cable to link your flash to your camera. Keep in mind that if you have one with TTL, you'll need an expensive cable.
If you need something like this - this is a good choice, especially for the price!
  • Another good clamp

Here's another good clamp. A very useful tool to have. I've tested and reviewed another one from F&V and this one seems to be of almost as good quality. It has both 3/8" and 1/4" attachment holes.
This is a good clamp for a good price. It's tight and sturdy and my guess is it will hold up for å long, long time.
Just get one before you forget.
  • Small multipurpose clamp with a little price

1.Small; 2. Little clamp for traveling; 3. Inexpensive clamp; 4. Easy tighten and realize and 5. A good alternative for the bulky and more priced clamps.
I needed a clamp that could be used attacked in a tripod’s leg for lighting and everything I could throw at it, like tethered gear. It is a little accessory with about a thousand potential uses...I attacked at it a Manfrotto 237 Flex Arm of 390g and, in the end, a Nikon SB-700 Speedlight with more 360g with success. Remember that this small clamp of only 95g and not 120g like were in the description of the product.
The build is not so sturdy and the company should have paid more attention to the quality of the material, but you buy what you pay. For this price it is a good solution to attack not so much heighted gear.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
  • Magic Arm

Really compact arm, could easly be carried around.Solid alluminium material and the plastic parts seems to be solid as well. Really solid when tightenedReally handy if combined with dolly car.It comes with a series of camera screw allowing the user to attach it to various kind of surfaces. I'm using it on a chest home made mount for a snorricam.
I suggest to use rubber or plastic washers when tightening the screws to ensure more stability.
The screws provided are compatible with any camera or any mount (1/4'' standard camera screw)
