    It was good for my Nikon AF-S Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED VR II lens. It's made of very good quality plastic with mat surface and has no difference with the original Nikon's HB-35 lens hood (except for the only small "for" before the marked name). It easily snaps to the lens and nested firmly, with no gap.
    It's ideal solution to obtain another lens hood in exchange of lost one.
    I'm happy that I could exchange the original lens hood with no drawback.

    The build quality is excellent. It's quality metal, solid, smooth. the inner side is ribbed to eliminate reflection. It has a nice matte finish, feels really nice in the hand. Super cheap. I'm using it on a 50mm lens since I was missing the original hood but it works like a charm.
    The hood is cca. 20mm deep, so it's not suitable for wide angle lenses.
    Great price, great quality! If you need a hood for a lens with 52mm filter thread, look no furdher.

    Good quality plastic, it is the same as original canon, but for less money. Fits on standard hood mount on 18-55mm kit lens. Can be mounted in reverse for storage. Anyway, if you crack it or break it, it is cheap enough that you can buy more.
    The same as SKU: 10918 but CHEAPER, get this one because it is newer (added in 2013 as opposed to SKU10918 added in 2008)
    Good lenshood for protecting your lens and blocking sunlight and flare.

    This shaped plastic deftly performs its intended purpose with gusto and daring. It adequately shields my 15-85mm from the beating rays of the sun, ever present and threatening to reduce the contrast of my image to horrific levels, all the while and simultaneously producing obscene levels of lens flare. The flat black plastic bayonet style of this lens hood works overtime to thwart the onslaught of photonic horror emanating from our local star.
    Great price.
    If you have this lens, there's no reason for you to buy the genuine Canon product. This will work just as well.

    Fits perfectly on my Canon EF-S 18-200mm 1:3.5.5.6 IS. It protects lens from hits. And restricts some light when it is too intense or direct. Cheaper than other similar lens hood
    Lens hood usually affects your photo quality and it's good to have one especially when there is much of stray light.
    Cheap, does the job
