brushless motor Customers Reviews

  • Good helicopter motor

    posted by weidi

Lightweight, powerful and high KV (4200) makes this motor good for helicopter.
For me this motor is little too powerfull for HB King 2, lucky I can change throttle curve in transmitter. It drains more current from battery than havier Mystery 2632-3000 with 11T pinion and 2200 rpm headspeed
Good motor for experienced 400 class heliuser wanted to experiment with more power and higher headspeed.
  • Cheap Brushless ESC

i bought a few months ago.
It's a very small and light ESC.
is useful DLG and small helis, airplanes.
My FF-EP200 heli and angel-DLG are already use ,
    I'm very satisfied.
I have used this setup for DLG:
    Mystery 4.4G Mini Servo with Accessories (0.8kg Torque) * 2 (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.20022)
    Lightmax 1S 3.7v 138mAh * 2 (7.4v)
Mystery BEC ESC for Brushless Motors (2607-12A 5-10 NC\2-3Lipo)
if you want small ESC. you buy this one.

I use this motor in a scrap built foam jet with a 3S battery and 5 * 4.75 prop. Total weight of the modell is about 300g. This makes it a really fast plane!
Here we are again: 500 words for the review. The i,portant things are written - nut still some words missing. A word-counter would be a nice feature :-)
I use it with a 30A ESC (SKU.13028) and a 1200mAh (3S, 20C) battery (SKU.33027) - both from DX too. This gives a cheap, fast and good setup.
  • Excelent brushless controller

I bought this for use with a Mystery 3000KV brushless motor to replace the original brushed motor in my Honey Bee King 2. It works exactly as it should and produces far less heat and therefore longer flight times.
Good combination when paired with the Mystery 3000KV brushless motor.
When compared to the cost of the Esky brushless motor upgrade kit, you can't go wrong. Buy some banana connectors while you're at it. You will need them.

Cheap and small ESC works like it's supposed to. Detected up to 4 cell Li-Po even it says 2-3 Li-Po. BEC (Battery Eliminator circuit) outputs handy 5v for receiver and servos.
30A variation of same ESC is only +2$ more. It would be probably better and more robust but this seems be all right too..for extra robustness and price when it's a available.
Seems be all good ESC. Nothing bad to say except be prepared for wrong manuals.
