brushless motor Customers Reviews

  • Excellent upgrade

    - Raises 1:18 RC to whole new level, at least A-Tech 1:18 Buggy 4WD.
    - For another project car needed to adjust 55% power usage from controller as too much speed.
    - Good torque both on- & off-road.
    - Many mounting threads for universal fit.
    - 3mm axle root (bearing from my Skyartec heli fits perfectly).
    - Long axle for pinion fitting.
Easy to program, the programming device has all needed written on it. Smaller motor than 370N (A-Tech stock), but fitted to mounting plates holes.
Didn't bother to run out full battery with A-Tech 1:18 Buggy 4WD RTR stock setup. With this set the buggy runs really nice. I've only run with 7.4V 2s 900MAh Li-PO, which last quite some time, so full potential isn't yet revealed.
    Excellent purchase.
  • Great little motors

    posted by Darkblade48

These are great little motors for use in the RC hobby. I used a set of them to build a multicopter, and they work very well. All the necessary parts (motor mount, screws, and even the propeller adapter) are included, which makes this item from DX quite nice (no need to buy extra accessories).
Make sure that you have the motors spinning the correct direction you want (important for RC helicopters/multirotors).The motor might also come a bit tight at first, but it eventually loosens up with time.
Great little motors to get if you have a need for them; they have a good KV value, so it's perfect for lighter quadcopters where payload carrying capacity is not as important.
  • Pretty good kit

    posted by Yerome

The brushless motor it is really nice. Seems to be mecanically strong and turns softly.
    The servos works pretty nice.
The Motor Shaft looks nice and fits ok (with the supplied rings).
    The BEC is well constructed.
Its a pretty nice kit for starting over with. Its recommended if you never use one of this motors and servos or if you wont to buil your first airplane (or some other proyect like that).
Nice price for a kit with all this. Everything works fine, except for minor details (see Cons about servos). The build quality could be better, but its ok given the price. Recomended.
  • Decent Electronic Speed Controllers

    posted by Darkblade48

These are OK electronic speed controllers (ESC) that I use for a multicopter. It is nice that these ESCs come as a package of 4, as that is the perfect number that was required for my multicopter. The wires are nice and long, so extensions are probably not required unless you have an unusual project.
The microcontroller is an ATMEL chip and not a Silab chip, so this may be important for some people (i.e. those that wish to reflash their own custom firmware onto the ESC).
A reasonable set of ESCs to get, especially if you are need of 4 at once.
  • Good Product

The appearance is very beautiful. The engine is very strong.A aparencia é muito bonita. O Motor é muito forte.
I installed on my off-road and after 3 sections in the dust, the engine began to heat up a lot, because a lot of dust on it have entered the part of the cables ... I spent hot glue and solved the problem of dust, it was a big gap.Instalei em meu off-road e depois de 3 seçoes na poeira, o motor começou a esquentar muito, devido a muita poeira ter entrado nele pela parte dos cabos... Passei cola quente e resolveu o problema da poeira, pois era uma abertura grande.
    Good Product.
