  • Cheap small and working

-On Windows 8 x64, I didn't need to install a stack (Windows installed it and it worked out-of-the-box)-Very small
Works fine on Windows 8 x64, buy BlueSoleil if you need more functionnality
Great product, a must-have if you need from time to time to transfer files between your phone and your computer but don't expect high transfer rates so Bluetooth tethering should be used occasionally
  • cheap and does the job

it is very small like logitech unifying receivers so it is definitely plug and forget type. This is an advantage if you use a laptop without bluetooth. You won't damage the receiver even if you put it in your bag.easy to set up and easy to use in windows. You can add your devices easily. You can use this to send files to/from your phone or to listen to your computer through your bluetooth headset.
Like I said it does the job as it should

excellent product, so far I haven't any problems ... is compatible with all, all computers I've used.
is very easy to use, reach and connect
really nothing more to say ... happy with the purchase, I ordered two more for people who also liked the product ...
In summary ... great product, happy with my purchase, very comfortable to use and transport (in pocket), so I recommend!
  • It works, but might not be ideal for A2DP

    posted by caerlon

-very inexpensive: even at discount online electronics retailers USB bluetooth adapters usually start at $15-20 plus shipping.
    -it works (see cons)
-very low-profile, so its ideal for laptops
It might be more suited for uploading content to your phones, or low-bandwidth devices like Bluetooth mice and keyboards, rather than something high bandwidth like stereo A2DP.
Worth a try for a couple bucks.
  • Cheap and simple

-Simple. Just plug it in and Windows will recognize it and install the drivers automatically-Small-Cheap-Nice for a gift
-It has a light that flickers when it's connected-Under Windows, you can connect to a cellphone, but you won't see it as a storage device until you install the cellphone's drivers for it.-Also, Windows' drivers for bluetooth devices aren't user-friendly; novice users might not find the way to make it work.
I think it's a good gift for a woman with a bluetooth cellphone, and some computer skills.
