  • Very Nice!

It works very well and is truly Bluetooth 2.0 device. Very fast to transfer files for my cell phone and very tiny. The Bluesoleil software is very easy to use and detects all my bluetooth devices (2 laptops, 2 cellphones, 2 headsets, 1 PDA and a Wireless stereo headset)
It's very small and integrates to the laptop design. You can forget it pluged in the USB port.
Very nice adapter for less than 6 dollars. That you waiting for? Buy ir NOW!
  • Cheap and simple

-Simple. Just plug it in and Windows will recognize it and install the drivers automatically-Small-Cheap-Nice for a gift
-It has a light that flickers when it's connected-Under Windows, you can connect to a cellphone, but you won't see it as a storage device until you install the cellphone's drivers for it.-Also, Windows' drivers for bluetooth devices aren't user-friendly; novice users might not find the way to make it work.
I think it's a good gift for a woman with a bluetooth cellphone, and some computer skills.
  • cheap and does the job

it is very small like logitech unifying receivers so it is definitely plug and forget type. This is an advantage if you use a laptop without bluetooth. You won't damage the receiver even if you put it in your bag.easy to set up and easy to use in windows. You can add your devices easily. You can use this to send files to/from your phone or to listen to your computer through your bluetooth headset.
Like I said it does the job as it should
  • Bluetooth for my old Windows XP laptop

I use it primarily to connect with my G-sat BT-359 GPS Receiver. And in that role, it performs wonderfully. Combined with "Google Maps With GPS Tracker" (freeware) my laptop now functions, as needed, as a highly accurate, full-size GPS navigator.
I am very busy right now, but felt somehow obligated to take the time to type up a review of this device, since I only paid $ 2.80 for it. At that price, I guess it's really free.
A fantastic, reliable, rugged, and inexpensive device. I highly recommend it.
  • Excellent for the price and in comparison to other

I bought two of these a couple of years ago and they have served me well. Bluesoleil is craptastic, so I've succesfully used these with toshiba's bluetooth stack, widcomms/broadcomms stack, java bluetooth stacks, microsoft stacks etc. some driver hacking and you are good to go. My main use for bluetooth is using wiimote on computer and these work well. Greatest thing I found out was that these work directly with HP's photosmart printers with USB-port for bluetooth. Some "real" bluetooth-dongles don't work directly (You can make them work by first putting this dongle in, letting the printer to setup and then switching to the other dongle). The LED is not as annoying as those bright blue LED's in some other devices, just a nice red glow.
For windows 7 users, setting up is effortless, even wiimote works directly (just get glovepie) with xp, you might need some tinkering, but the curse of king Bluetooth has managed to spawn any number of guides.
