This battery has everything you would expect: Heat-shrink tube around it, silicone-insulated wires including the charging ones, compatible charging connector with my E-flite chargers. This battery is only rated 15C, but it doesn't matter since it has higher capacity than the originals in its place giving sufficient permissible current. This battery gave me an additional time boost. I wasn't yet able to measure the exact total time, but from my voltage measurements, I dare publish this estimation:Original "1800mAh": 6:30Other "2200mAh": 10:00This battery: 12:00+ (extrapolated from half discharge).I just soldered a connector appropriate for my helicopter (EC3 female) and glued a loops-side of a Velcro to its side. The battery fits well in my Blade 400.
A bit blind bet because of the dimensions. Incredible amount of energy inside.
Double the flight time for only quarter the price of a regular battery.

+ good price+ built quality very good+ arrived appropriately charged with all cells 3.88V, all cells balanced
    - first discharge cycle (after charging fully to 4.2V/cell from the delivered state) resulted in 1956 mAh down to 3V/cell with a discharge current of 0.3 A- don't know how it behaves with high current discharge
good battery for this excellent price despite -10% capacity.was skeptical about ordering LiPo at DX but would buy again.
  • Finaly a charger for the En-EL4a

The price of course! The original nikon parts are more than expensive. It is a good idea to built in the charger port with the BL-3 part. That means You do not need to buy the really expensive nikon carger.
Building quality is maybe not the best. I do not think it will survive a fall into a hard floor or so. But the price makes up for that. :-)
Finaly I can shoot 8 photos per second with my nikon D700. The nikon parts needed for this costs more than 100 times moore.4 stars for the low price.
  • Futaba reciever battery

For the price its a decent battery. I've used it a whole season without issue. It definitely lasts longer than the stock rechargeable ni-cd battery did and its way lighter. It is a direct replacement for the battery in a futaba 3pk you just unplug one and plug the other in. The wires are good quality and are overkill for a receiver battery.
Really not a bad battery for the price. To be honest it would be cheaper to just by two of these and cycle them than it would be to go and buy one made to fit from a hobby store.
I like it. I would definitely buy it again if I needed another one. And I would suggest it to a friend.
  • Good quality

I bought this battery for my selfmade airplanes. Even after flying mostly full throttle (the motor uses 45 to 50 amps then), the battery doesn't get too hot.
When they arrived, charge was arround 40 percent and one cell was 0.21 volt out of balance. After balanced charge and use, the battery stays quite well balanced.
Since I build modells from scrap and my flying skills are not this high, I don't need "super-famous-high-quality-brand" batteries. The chance that they die because of a crash is much higher than the chance they're getting too old :-)
