  • Great little amps!

    - Worked great as replacement amplifiers in a SoundBridge Radio R1000, with very little modification. Although, a crossover is now needed for the subwoofer.- Inexpensive.- Great audio quality.- Simple to use.- Good build quality at an amazing price.
Would buy again for other projects!

It is not too expensive for what it is capable of.Good connection and good sound.Very good build quality.TherTiny.
I recommend this board highly if you are planning to surface mount it to a circuit board because of the high build quality and small size. If you are planning on using pins and headers, look elsewhere, it is too small to be soldering pins to it.Here is documentation for the board:http://www.elecfreaks.com/wiki/index.php?title=BLK-MD-SPK-BHere is documentation if you would like to explore the AT serial commands for the OVC3860:http://www.electrodragon.com/w/images/4/4b/BLK-MD-SPK-B_AT_Commands_OVC3860_List.pdf
Wonderful and a good buy if you understand how small it is.

Surprisingly good sound quality! Reads USB stick and SD card fast enough. FM radio is very sensitive, even with a short piece of wire as antenna. Really easy to make a home/portable audio player, after finding out the purpose of the connectors, you just have to find a suitable container, connect a random +5V supply and a pair of speakers.
I managed to turn off the alarm function after reading the discussion (remote control '0' key) but is it possible without the remote? I also found out how to switch it off to STANDBY - you have to press and hold 'Mode' button for a few seconds, and it switches to clock function.
It's a very practical gadget, you can upgrade your old cassette car radio, build an alarm clock or a cheap micro-"hifi" on your own, etc... Too bad you don't get a proper english manual for it, because i have a feeling that many useful functions remain hidden even if you try pressing buttons randomly.
  • Superb Micro amplifier

This is the most aamassing amplifier i have purchased so far from DX !Its not the most powerful, but its so Tiny ! The output you can achive from this far exceeds expectation ! The sound quality is fantastic, low and high level, and a very low noise floor for a digital amp that has no output filter, i will be purchasing more !
This will be sooo good for Rasberry pi user, how cool would a tiny 5 volt sub+sat system be ?
If you need a tiny high performance amp with mini subwoofer, look no further :DI love this little amp bored x
  • Easy to use andf greaty sound!

*Easy to use (basically no extra components needed)
    *Dedicated pin for "on"-mode
*Seems to have saftey circuits against faulty wiring. Mine seemed burned a few times (while experimenting) but got reset after reboot.
This is a nice little chip! It runs very cool and the output quality is good as long as you don't push it to the limit.
Perfect use is for portable battery powered speakers, since it only needs 3 ordinary batteries to run. Although, I would recommend sku.44122 in most cases to prevent distortion. (But that one needs at least 10 at VCC)
If you're building a small battery powered speaker for you cellphone/mp3-player then this one is for you! You cant get much cheaper and power efficient!
But remember, its not possible to use as a headphone amplifier since channel one dies when connecting- of both channels together.
