  • Sensor de temperatura muy preciso

    posted by pyro329

Este sensor de temperatura es por mucho mas preciso que el DTH11, se instala en segundos solo basta con conectar a la protoboard y de ahi al arduino alimentarlo con 5 voltios y es todo, ya esta listo para usar y mandar informacion a nuestro arduino
    Buena relacion costo/calidad
Gran sensor de temperatura, debes de contemplar su compra si vas a comprar sensores para tu arduino.
  • Cheap sensor, great bang for the buck

It's mounted to a PCB, has a pull-up resistor. This means less wear-and-tear on the sensor if you move it between projects, and the pull-up means no hunting for the right resistor (OK, that part doesn't take much hunting, but still).
This is a DHT11 sensor, you can find lots of tutorials online. If you google for adafruit dht11, you'll find a good tutorial with code for using these on arduino. It's mentioned in the comments, but I'll put it here in case it helps anyone:The left pin is signal (There is a silk-screened S on the board next to it)The middle pin is power. The right pin is ground (There is a silk-screened - on the board next to it)
If you want to play with a temperature or humidity sensor that doesn't need rapid-read times, this is perfect.
  • Handy gadget for the experimenter

    posted by HenryJ

Inexpensive.Handy for the experimenter as it plugs into a breadboard easily (not that a three pin device isn't easy to plug into a breadboard but having the device mounted to the pcb helps protect it and make it less vulnerable to handling damage.
    Good for any arduino experimenter.
A good price for an experimenters gadget.
  • Accurate temperature sensor

    posted by Python1320

Accuracy! it's accurate to sub-celsius.My thermometer and the component's pre-calibrated readings also agree with each other.Easy to use with ready made libraries all the way to having straight out calibrated celsius out of serial port on arduino.
Bought one more since the first one broke. Almost bought 3 more since I'm planning on putting them all over the house.
Good temperature one-wire sensor and good "casing". Definitely worth more than just the sensor alone.
  • Good but expensive

Works as expected from DHT22 / AM2302 device.20cm cable to connect the sensor to Arduino sensor shield has been included.Note that 10k pull-up resistor is already soldered into DHT22 board, so you need no extra parts.
see good article on Adafruit:http://learn.adafruit.com/dht/overviewyou will probably need DHT library for Arduino which is also available from Adafruit. Datasheets for DHT sensors family are also there.
Good device for hobbyists, one sensor for the price of mini meteostation.
