Excellent circuit.I had a schematic of a circuit like this, and cost like 2x and it´s not than small. It came with an antistatic bag.
If you don´t connect the 5v, the leds still work (5v is for run the relay). It uses a transistor to raises the voltage (the input is only for on/off purposes)
This circuit is ideal for use with the parallel port, to run some electric diy or use direct to 220v and on/off anythingVery good product. If you like the electronic and diy, you may love this thing :D
  • Good product at a very interesting price

The main advantage of this product is that the input is optically insulated. This is particularly relevant for me as I need to connect the board to an expensive National Instruments I/O board. Beside this, the product is cheap, compact, and reasonably well assembled. It has good connectors and useful status LEDs.
The board is packaged in an antistatic bag.
Almost impossible to find this quality at this price.

  • 8 relays at a good price

Good quality PCB carries 8 relays, the contact tracks are thick to carry 10 Amps without burn. The relays are driven by optocouplers so to have good insulation between the logical unit from power unit. A jumper permits to bypass the optocoupler and have the same common line between the input drive and the relay solenoid. The board has 1 power indicator LED and 1 LED for each relay.
The board is very simple to use and here http://www.henningkarlsen.com/electronics/library.php?id=57 you can find a good library to test and use it.
if you use the board with 220 Vca put an insulation shield under the board.
  • Very Usefull for very cheap price

Well made circuity with extra protection from the opto-isolators.nice design and component quality were used.no need from extra VCC line, you can get it from your MCU cause its 5V relay.usefull indicator (NO NC) it helps a lot when you are build your stuff on a rush.
I like to project my own circuit and I also made some single 5V relay board, but here in Brasil the cost to produce only one relay board is expensive as bought this well made 4x5V board... i Dont realize how you guys can made this...
This circuit is very usefull for home automation projects. And its very difficult to find (at least here in Campina Grande - PB - Brasil) 5V relays. There are others 4x5V relays here on DX, even cheaper then this one. But with extra protection from the optocouplers this one is my very best indication
