  • Small, cheap and good quallity

Great price. Small as i expected. Good quallity at this price.
If you make an analogy between L298 and L9110, L9110 can see that the does not have enable/disable pin.In other words is simply connected to the Arduino, in my case.External power supply must be used to avoid power problems.
Connect with an Arduino Mega (bought from DX) works very fine with 2 micromotors.
  • Nicely build device

    - has smooth movement- the cap is detachable, so you can mount it through the hole- positioning accuracy is good, tested with Arduino- looks solid- the joystick cap has rupper surface so far is not slipping- proper packaging
    - it needs 2 arduino pins for X and Y axis and one digital / analog pin for Z axis press (just a button)- probably you'll need to unmount pins and place them from opposite PCB side- would be nice to attach mounting screws into pachage
Very handy for UI controlling in DIY projects
  • Nice manipulator for your own projects

Device has a large "mushroom" cap with soft-feel rubber upper surface. Suitable for the first Arduino projects. Localization of the contact pins at the side of PCB board and their direction allows to build DIY projects right on the table.
I'm tested it with Arduino Uno to control the servo motor. Works great, so I can't add anything.
Solid construction, works properly. Scheme of this device is plenty easy and other documentation isn't need.
  • Feels like a PS2 Joystick

I was using it with a Arduino Uno and a sensor interface shield so the standard 3pin plug connections made it easy to plug straight into the shield. The stick moves freely and feels good.
I would recommend this stick to anyone looking for a joystick to use with an Arduino or similar board - it was made for hobbyists.
Easy to use and functions as you would expect.

Quality components. Color coded servo headers. Decent traces layout and thickness on power traces. Good price. 35V rated solid caps. 55N06L MOSFETs.
The color coded servo headers are great, although it makes me wish they extended the gnd / VCC / 12V coloration through all the headers. The use of 35V solid caps is good if you want to drive your steppers or heated bed at 24V. Soldering job is inconsistent and sometimes gloppy, with some stray solder blobs here and there. Nothing more than some minor clean up and a few joints needing a quick reflow or extra solder. A couple crooked smt parts, but nothing was loose or falling off.Board still had some flux residue and could have used another rinse. However, I have not found anything that directly affects it's immediate functionality -- just concerns about long term reliability. There's a QC PASSED sticker on it, but it does not really reassure me. ;)
Check the soldering before use, but otherwise a decent value with good components.
